On this episode of the podcast we talk extensively about Southern Charm and caftans. AS YOU DO.
We also chronicle some of our current, um, hormone-adjacent frustrations, recap what’s happened for our teams so far in the college baseball post-season, and discuss some of our summer reading plans. Plus, Melanie brings us all up-to-speed on some highlights from The Bachelorette – and in doing so improves the quality of all our lives.
Hope y’all enjoy!

Sophie-
I think that we have had the same “procedure.” Just a little news about it, after a few years, my period returned. With a vengeance.
You’re welcome.
You are the best! Love your banter and authenticity. I literally laugh out loud every time I listen; I especially love it when you get tickled after hearing one another’s comments. Thanks for being relatable, for the entertainment, and for sharing info on the stuff you mention, too.
Barbecue Chicken Recipe link? I’ve googled and been unable to find it. Thanks.
Laughed so hard at the Zumba recap- I wonder if one of the the songs was “Shake Senora” by Pibull – it has Latin flair and says “My girl got a big ol’ booty, your girl got a lil ol’ booty – LOL.
Hail State!
Loved this episode. I live in Monroeville, AL. You should come visit Harper Lee’s hometown and speak at my church while you’re down here! Lol.
Loved that you both talked about the nightmare of perimenopause on this episode. I am right along with you on all of it. Also, I have two teenage daughters (age 14 & 16) whom I have BEGGED to track their cycles so I can figure out what, at any given moment, is actually going on. It is a dark time, for sure.
Cheers,
d
