The Big Boo Cast, Episode 325

This week Melanie and I discuss what we talk about before we actually start recording each week’s episode (my mama would say that it’s when we really get into the “nitty gritty”), how P has absolutely been influenced in terms of how he hosts a guys’ weekend, and how legit Texas tacos have made their way to Birmingham. You will not be surprised that we also spend a good deal of time focusing on the latest in college basketball because Joe Lunardi is apparently the boss of us right now.

We have lo, another book update because I have started reading the book about the fairies (who am I?), and it’s Melanie’s turn for Five Favorites.

Hope y’all enjoy!

  1. I actually enjoyed the Reese Witherspoon movie ??????????? I watched it and thought it was cute. I also watched the new Jennifer Lopez movie Shotgun Wedding and thought it was good. It has language but I liked the movie itself!

  2. Sophie- turmeric (with black pepper) is the best! It’s like an anti-inflammatory but so good for you!

  3. I didn’t watch the Super Bowl, but did watch the clip of the national anthem. One thing that makes Stapleton’s and Whitney Houston’s performances the same is that both seemed effortless. Whitney’s will most likely always be my favorite, but I can appreciate Stapleton’s rendition and talent. (The Old School me wanted to tell him to take those sunglasses off, though.)
