Earlier this afternoon, I realized that Alex had been out of sight – and quiet – for about ten minutes.
So I investigated.
And this is what I found.
Looks like Easter candy and a three year old are fast friends indeed.

Chocolate…GOOD!!!!
Hey Merritt – I tried to sidetrack him with some Skittles, but he said, “YUCKY, Mama – I like CHOCOLATE!”
I would also like to point out that, because we went to the 8:00 service this morning, this has been the LONGEST. SUNDAY. EVER. It feels like it should be at least 9:00.
If I am squinting just right, that looks like a coupon, boomama. At least he is trying to be a savvy shopper…….Probably for more CHOCLOLATE!! :)
I asked my preschooler yesterday what she wanted for lunch. “Nussing” (nothing) I realized she’d been eating out of her basket all morning.
I tell ya, I am so close to getting that mother of the year award!!! :)
