3. Three favorite foods (and/or beverages)
4. Three favorite restaurants
5. Three favorite authors (and you can’t say “God – because He wrote the Bible” – I know you all love Him, but this is not Miss America, so you don’t have to impress the judges) :-)
6. Three favorite places
And mine, just for the record:
1. Y’all know there’s no way I can pick just three, so here are my top five: 24, Alias, Paula’s Home Cooking, Oprah (but only when she features celebrities, makeovers, or inspirational stories), American Idol
2. Okay, four: Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil shampoo, Arbonne skin care system (I know that’s about 8 separate items, but they’re all in one convenient package), Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus & Spearmint ANYTHING, the Sarah Jessica Parker perfume that I wear (I just had to use Google to remember that the name of it is “Lovely”)
3. DIET COKE, steak (preferably a filet cooked by my brother on the grill), coffee with 2 Equals and a splash of 1/2 & 1/2

ps – this Arbonne intrigued me. I’ve never heard of it. So I googled it and the packaging looks good. That’s always promising. :)

#6 Home, Paris, Bahamas
1. (Current not all-time)–Grey’s Anatomy (love this show!), American Idol, Lost
2. Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint body wash (I actually fell in love with the B&BW Eucalyptus Spearmint hand soap at BooMama’s house. So, now I have almost all the B&BW ES products), Carmex (direct influence from Merritt in college), BeautiControl Perfecting Wet/Dry Finish
3. Cherry Diet Coke (seriously, I can’t buy it too often, because I will drink a whole 2-liter in one day if it’s around), steak (filet grilled by my dad), Seafood Thermadore (made by my mom)
4. Louisiana Lagniappe (Destin, Fla., or Orange Beach, Ala.), Bud & Ally’s (Seaside, Fla.), Stix (Birmingham)
5. Boo knows I’m a big re-reader of books, so my choices skew old and could probably change on on any given day–William Faulkner, Walker Percy, Anne Lamott
6. My house, Destin/South Walton, Fla., Starkville, Miss. (for so many reasons)
Oh good grief Daphne – why did you have to mention your mama’s seafood thermadore? Now I am craving it. Haven’t had it in over ten years, but I’m craving it. DEEEEE-licious. Do you have the recipe?
And now I’m curious about this BeautiControl wet/dry stuff, because you and Maria both mentioned it.
I DO have the recipe and will email it to you. It is really easy to make.
I LOVE my Beauticontrol wet/dry finish. It’s basically a combination base/powder that looks a lot like a pressed powder in the container but is applyed with a self-contained sponge. Makes for easy foundation touch-ups. (I’m pretty sure this is the girliest paragraph I’ve ever written).
Laughing. Very. Hard.
Boo, did you Tivo Jennifer Weiner on the Tony Danza Show this morning?
No, I didn’t. And I actually read on her blog that she was going to be on there, but I don’t even know if / when he comes on here…and I forgot all about it, truth be told.

I am so tickled by your list (it’s funny that I’m typing this to you since I just got off the phone with you), because I wondered Sunday what lip stuff you were wearing. Now I know! And yes, I can testify to everyone that EK LOOOOOVES chocolate chip cookies. :-)
Ooh, I love these things! OK!
1. Lost, Six Feet Under (I don’t watch too much other TV, and Six Feet I get off of Netflix…However when they are good episodes I like to catch reruns of the Simpsons and I adore those cooking shows on PBS).
2. Hmm…I haven’t been into beauty products since I was in high school, but here goes nothing. I use Suave Lavender shampoo and conditioner, Aveeno shaving cream and Suave Milk and Honey body soap. I did just buy a spiral curling iron and Aussie Sprunch Spray…Lovin’ ’em.

6. Three favorite places…Jeez, I’m going to have to be general here: The beach, the mountains, on the road :)
B, this was fun – I just browsed your BooMama Recipe link and oh boy, do I have some cooking to do. I don’t really care for Grits but my husband does being from Tennessee and all…and he’s is going to L-O-V-E me even more after I make those! But now you’ve got me wanting the Shrimp T. from your friend??? Will she share? If not, it’s okay…thanks for the recipes by the way – they all sound fabulous!!
Jenn – We love Baja Fresh – wish we had one here (my hubby’s best friend lives in your neck of the woods, which accounts for our exposure to Baja Fresh and In n Out burgers). :-)
And Theresa – when Daphne emails me the shrimp thermadore (am I spelling that right?) recipe, I’ll email it to you. It is SO good. And that cheese grits recipe? Served with that asian pork tenderloin recipe? YUM-MY. :-)

I’m a little late on this one-been a busy week…
1.Arrested Development (R.I.P. G.O.B.), Amazing Race, Top Chef.
2. Um…I really like the shampoo I got at Costco because it was cheap and it’s lasted me almost a year. I really like the conditioner I got at Costco because it was cheap and it’s lasted me almost a year. And I will put a little bit of that jojoba oil stuff in my hair when I’m feeling sassy.
3. My mom’s beef stroganoff. Penn’s Chicken on a Stick (oh, I miss the South). A big ole barbeque pork sandwich with cole slaw on the sandwich (not on the side).
4. Bombay Cafe, Zankou Chicken (love that garlic paste), Big Mike’s Philly Cheesestakes-all of which are in L.A. My three from back South are: Little Dooey’s,Chick-Fil-a (I know, I know),Cock of the Walk.

Daffy,
Yes, there are oh so many fond memories of fried food from my youth and whenever you can throw a wooden dowel into the mix…let’s just call it what it really is, absolute golden magic goodness. By the way, it sure is nice hearing all of y’alls voices (albeit in my head/via cyberspace and all of that hooey).
Have a finger-lickin’ fried Friday.
tt
1. TV-I am so boring, Bill O’Riley,Hannity and Combs, Greta V. OH! and anything on RFDTV.
2. Whatever I have a coupon for, but if I splurge, ANYTHING Aheva (love, love, love) and MAC ANYTING. I don’t have a third.
3. Dirty, dirty martini, Bread Pudding, Shrimp and grits.

5. The last book that I finished was a tell all on Martha Stewart..Southern Living, Southern Accent, Southern Lady.

Daph and TT – where does one get Penn’s chicken on a stick these days? They used to have them at MSU football games, but I haven’t seen them in a long time.
Once you give me that info, can we please discuss the fried dill pickles that accompany the fried chicken on a dowel? :-)
All of the Rick’s Express have them here in The Delta. I think that it would be worth the trip to come over.
Well, Boo, I have not been able to find Penn’s chicken on a stick for a while either. However, Little Dooey’s has a very good imitation…that’s where I usually get my fix. Oh, and the fried dill pickles? Perfection.
BTW, did you see your friend RR on Oprah Friday? She made a EVOO reference just for you.
Daph – I JUST watched that Oprah. And I did see Rach talking about EVOO. Oprah LOVES her and seems to love her food, too. And let’s be sure to get together to have our Legacy Ball party Monday night! ;-) You want to drive over from your place and spend the night? :-) (Do you think Oprah REALLY expects for people to do that? I mean, I love her and all, but….)
