Question

Is all my sidebar stuff showing up on your computer?

Because it’s completely missing from mine, and I can’t figure out why.

Let the troubleshooting begin…. :-)

  1. Okay, apparently it was my Thursday Thirteen post that was knocking out the sidebar – at least on my computer, so I’ve taken it down for the time being. And I apologize to all of y’all who read this blog via a feedreader – because I have republished about 7 times in the last 5 minutes. :-)

  2. I see it!

  3. I see it too! Just in case you had changed anything else. =)

  4. It’s all there

  5. I had to go in and edit the HTML on the Thurs. 13 code a few times when it was too wide. I just changed the width.

Once it caused the last couple words of each sentence to sort of disappear of to the right. Again, edit html worked.

  6. You too! Happens to me constantly. I discovered when you can’t see it, click on your most recent archines and it shows there. Have no idea why this stuff decides to “rest” in archives for a few minutes before it lands in the right spot. Also discovered when YOU can’t see it, apparently everyone else can. Drove me nuts. Now I just click on archives and assume everyone out there can see it even when I can’t.

I don’t know if this makes any difference, but when all of your sidebar stuff was at the bottom of the page yesterday, I closed Internet Explorer, opened your page with Firefox, and everything looked normal. I didn’t say anything because I have been “fighting” with our firewall and Internet Explorer (and Tech Help, too!) on some other issues, and just figured it was my machine.
(Then, of course, my OCD kicked in and I closed and re-opened, closed, re-opened, closed, re-opened…) :)

  8. I use Firefox mostly, and everything is fine, but I did notice you have 11 blogs on your list now, not 10. Does this mean your OCD is relaxing a little or is a breakdown imminent? Hee hee, just wondering….. :)

  9. Breakdown is imminent. Definitely. :-)

I’ll either have to get it back down to 10 or take it up to 12, but the uneven number just will. not. do. :-)
