…and the BooFamily didn’t die from the heat at the game!
Our day was a win-win!
There were over 12,000 people there today – at a college baseball game – and when you couple the size of the crowd with, oh, about 155% humidity, it stands to reason that we were A LITTLE BIT WARM.
But now we’re home safe and sound. With showers and clean clothes in our immediate future.
I’ll be back in a little bit with more details.
And oh yeah: GO DOGS!
WTG BOO!!!!!
Glad your team won!And you didn’t melt.
Go Dogs!! Hope they win tomorrow!!
Oh, what ever did you do about the head attire?
Glad y’all had a great time!!!
Well, I’m happy for you and glad to know that you survived. I was worried when I got your message because you know once your knees get hot, it’s usually all over.
The Aggies lost tonight. In the 10th inning. I’m so pleased.
How bout them DAWGS??!!WOOFWOOFWOOF. We set an attendance record today for NCAA Subregionals, but I remember a game several years ago when I think around 15,000 showed up. They were hanging in the trees behind right field! May have been a conference tourney, can’t remember, but Burke Masters was playing.
I’m looking forward to listening to the Dawgs over the internet tomorrow. And I’m REALLY looking forward to OMAHA!!! GO DAWGS!!!!
Oh, and Kelly…I remember Burke Masters playing for State! I think I was in school at State at the time. I remember going to those games when I should have been studying…enjoying those delicious hot dogs (I think they called them “superdogs” or something??) and smelling the wonderful smells from Left Field Lounge. Aah…the memories…
Late that afternoon, ESPN was showing highlights and they showed the guy doing backflips on the field. OF COURSE, I thought about you being there in the stands!
