The Big Boo Cast, Episode Eight

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. We have actually recorded and posted podcasts TWO WEEKS IN A ROW. Because we’re givers, people. And as such we are giving you yay, even MORE unstructured, unorganized ramblings from the two of us. We like to think it’s the Christmas gift that keeps on giving. Whether you want it or not.

This week we talk about what music we’ve listened to the most over this last year and thereby remove any remaining doubt in regard to our complete and utter lack of coolness. We also have a (way too long) discussion about celebrities who we’d like to invite to a dinner party, we speculate about why Anthropologie tries to be so edgy, and then we cap off the podcast action with some stellar observations about being Southern girls.

In short, it’s yet another laugh-an-hour episode filled with the first-rate mediocrity you’ve come to expect from us. And we could not be any more proud to bring you our own unique brand of sub-par entertainment.

Thank you and have a lovely day.

  1. Since the html fiasco of 2007 hasn’t destroyed your friendship, perhaps on a future podcast you could speculate on what it WOULD take to put your relationship asunder.
But if that’s not Christmasy enough, maybe a review of holiday cheeseballs.

  2. Oh my word! I feel like a celebrity since you answered my questions. In Hanson related news, a friend of mine hung out with them a few weeks ago. He published a childrens book with the lead singer of Jars of Clay. The Hanson’s are christians as well so they were at the same conference! How cool is that?

  3. How about “what was the best Christmas gift you received when you were a child?” or “what is your best Christmas memory?”

  4. David Crowder is tops on my list this year!
I would love to have you and Melanie over for dinner so you could both just make me laugh for hours!

  5. For some reason the part on who y’all would have over for dinner got me real tickled….that was funny stuff. Of course both of you have such contagious laughs, but that was really funny.

  6. My daughter came in while I was laughing out loud listening to the BigBoo cast. When y’all starting the segment on inviting people to dinner, she said “Mama, you would so invite Amy Grant and Vince Gill to supper with us wouldn’t you?” About that time, you two said the same thing and she literally fell off her chair. It was priceless. And just so you know, she would invite Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgins to supper. (They’ll have to take a back seat to Vince and Amy though.)

  7. I asked this last week, but here it is again: What are the top three things you like to do at Christmas-time?

  8. Chantilly girls…..holla!
