Quick! A Giveaway! Right Now! Hurry!

Now normally I try to time my giveaways so that there’s about one a week, but in this case – what with it being so close to Christmas and all – I decided I’d better post about this particular giveaway RIGHTTHISSECOND because I want the winner to have her (or his!) prize in time to use it before Christmas.

So here’s the deal.

A week or so ago Lands’ End sent me a couple of items of clothing to try. I am not keeping the clothing, mind you, because of my ads agreement and because I’m afraid that if I start accepting all sorts of free stuff I’ll eventually be standing in the checkout line at Publix trying to work out a way to trade blog space for six cans of crushed pineapple, but I was all for trying on the clothes from Lands’ End if they might be something that you, the internets, would enjoy.

Well, the two things I tried were this jacket and these pants, and it probably comes as no surprise that I loved both items because OH, THE COMFORT.

OH, THE JOYOUS, FLEECE-Y COMFORT.

In addition to being very warm and cozy, the Lands’ End fleece is anti-static and anti-pet hair (I KNOW!). But more than anything, it’s just really, super comfortable – great stuff to put on when you need to run through the carpool line but don’t want to embarrass your kids by wearing your pajamas, NOT THAT ANY OF US WOULD EVER DO SUCH A THING.

Personally, I’m always on the lookout for “Mama clothes” that will put a little sassy in my step, and when I tried on the jacket and the pants, I felt like a regular Sassy McFleecerson, oh yes ma’am I did.

And you? You can feel like Sassy McFleecerson, too. Because Lands’ End is going to send one of you fabulous internets a $100 gift card.

I KNOW!

Here’s what you do if you’d like to win a $100 gift card from Lands’ End:

1. Click here to go to the Lands’ End website.

2. Look around. They have clothes for all shapes and sizes (plus, the men who are reading will find that there are also many manly items that they can wear with great manly pride).

3. Come back here and tell me at least one item you found for your Christmas wish list.

4. Go fix yourself a cup of hot chocolate. You must be exhausted from all that looking.

I’ll close this giveaway the morning of Monday, December 17th.

Have fun, y’all!

This giveaway is now closed. I’ll announce the winner Tuesday, December 18th. Thanks so much for the incredible response!

  1. I’m all about slippers right now – it’s ccccolllld here! And they have nice ones. :)
    Thanks for the contest.

  2. Hi! I’m a new reader but thought I’d chime in on this one. A product of theirs that I’ve always been fascinated by (but could never afford) is their 3-in-1 Squall Jacket because it combines the toasty warm fleece with a windproof parka and it just looks deliciously warm and wonderful!

    What a great giveaway!

  3. Gayle Runyons says:

My husband would love the traditional flat front pants

  4. I would LOVE the Shearling vest or the Chalet shoes/clogs. How fun would a shopping spree be?

  5. Okay, I really need a nice winter coat, so this would be at the top of the list:http://www.landsend.com/pp/FauxShearlingHoodedDuffleCoat~174716_59.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::XOZ&CM_MERCH=IDX_00002__0000000159&origin=index

But there is a rope hammock that would be nice come summer!

  6. The black zip front fleece is nice…

  7. THe weatherfield shoes and jacket would be wonderful for the 18 inches of snow in my front yard.

  8. Okay, I know this is out of season, but I live in Florida! So, I must pick a swimsuit. I have several LE’s suits, and I will NEVER buy another brand. They are worth every penny. I really like the triangle cup tank right now.

  9. The faux shearling shoes and henley pj top with matching pants. Me. Me. Me.

    Thanks!

  10. we love the girls velour dress

  11. architect Beth says:

I have some long sleeve t-shirts on my list. Soft and cozy – and they go with sweats or jeans.

  12. I love love love what you were sent but I also love the weatherfield diamond parka!

  13. I heart the goose down vest paired with some thermacheck sports gloves and scarf!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Ooh, I love the Weatherfield shoes AND boots!! :)

  15. The awesome fleece baby sleepers!

  16. I need to get my big ol’ head warm, so I liked the Women’s ThermaCheck® Roll Brim Hat in the green. Thanks for the offer!

  17. Cashmere anything for me, please!

  18. I love the way you can roll over the pictures and see a different view of the items! I was having so much fun playing with that!

As far as clothes I liked, it would be the gathered waist dress.

  19. That jacket you described. In bright yellow! Or maybe something cashmere. I’ve never had anything cashmere before.

  20. Well, as tempting as the women’s clothing is – and I’m a big lover o’ the fleece. I’m also very pregnant and so…I think I would pick a squall jacket for my dear husband who has been shoveling snow all weekend with a jacket that has a broken zipper. (poor dear, though I’m not sympathetic enough to go out and help). But Mmmmm, this stuff looks COZY!

  21. I would love to have this: Women’s Regular Marinac® Jacket.

  22. I’d probably say the Toddler/Baby Reinforced Knee Squall Bibs top my list. We’ve got a nice coat for our boy, but nothing much for the bottom (we never stay out long anyway) and it would be nice to keep him toasty head to toe.

  23. (wiping my hot cocoa mustache) Okay, well, I have a confession to make – I did not KNOW that LE had clothes in my size and awesome ones at that! I could have a VERY good time with them, now that I know! Your post made me think all warm and comfy so I had to stop in at the jammie – Oh the soft gloriousness of the Icy Pink long sleeved mid-calf Henley! And that would only be the beginning…..;)

  24. I was pregnant last winter so had a maternity coat. Well the baby is here but I am still wearing the coat as our money is going to diapers, wipes, and clothes she seems to grow out of in a week! So even though its a little big on me I can get away with it…but if I win I will buy the Women’s Faux Shearling Car Coat!!
Thanks for the fun at least dreaming!!

  25. Owen's Mom says:

Cashmere sweaters! All the gorgeous colors make it hard to choose …

  26. Oh the choices…the choices. I would probably have to go with a 3 season jacket (although not exciting) because my sweetie and I recently moved to New England, and that’s the one thing I haven’t bought yet for the winter snow. But with a fun gift card, I would possible feel the need to get a cute skirt instead. :-)
    Happy Holidays!

  27. You can’t beat their kiddos clothing! All so nice (and warm) and you can wash, and wash, and wash, and it looks good as new!

  28. My toddler needs boots so badly, so I am going with the Kids’ Snow Blast Boots in pink!! I would LOVE these!!!

  29. I want the red thermacheck 100 watch cap, scarf and sport gloves. I want them very much.

Your giveaways are always so much fun!

    Paige

  30. Oh…I LOVE Land’s End…they have the best quality clothes for adults and kids too…If I had to pick I would go for a pair of Women’s Colorblock Performance Pants! I would love this one!!! Thanks!!

  31. I would

  32. I love the trello boots in brown!!!!!!!!!

  33. I only have one pair of jeans that fit right, so I’d love a pair of new ones – I especially like the modern boot cut jeans! :)

  34. The Toddler Snow Blast Boots. My little boy has no boots, and I’m not sure I’ll get him any despite all the snow, because he doesn’t like it outside in the cold. But I’ve been looking anyway, and these ones would be super cool. We’d have to take some trips outside as a family to slide down some hills if he was decked out in some of those!!

  35. I have been begging for the Trello boots for Christmas, but doubt I’m getting them.I also really like the Weatherfield shoes.

  36. Actually, the thing that I would like isn’t for me, it’s for my daughter. Land’s End has kids’ slippers in the shape of animals and she would adore the sheep slippers.

  37. This mama needs an Ivory Long Sleeve Cashmere Tee Sweater…and will wear a bib to avoid spilling the hot chocolate on it! So very clumsy!! :)

  38. I would definitely love something for the kids. There stuff is so precious! I actually have my heart set on the floral nylon sleeping bag. Too cute!

  39. Does it have to be me? My oldest daughter does not have a winter coat. At this moment, it’s 19 degrees outside. We’ve been making do because we don’t have the money for one right now. That’s what I would use it for. She’s almost 13 and we have to buy from Ladies’ clothes now. Man, do the prices jump.

Aside: my youngest is wearing a red squall jacket that I bought for my oldest…14 years ago. Yes, they last. It has no tears and it looks almost new after washing.

  40. I LOVE the Faux Shearling Car Coat!!

  41. I’ve got my eye on the Women’s 400-gram Zip-front boots! I’m needing boots rather badly this year and those look nice!

  42. Oooh so many things! But the Women’s Chalet Shoes look positively yummy. Seems so strange to actually pick something for myself! Good Luck everyone!

  48. Laura McMullan says:

    I like the cashmere tee!

  49. Alright, although the name Chevron does not make me think warm thoughts, I love, love, love the Chevron Down Jacket. This would alleviate my “I have nothing to wear” syndrome and that would make my husband very happy! The Park Wife

  50. With 3 dogs and 4 cats, I would kill or die for an entire anti-pet-hair fleece wardrobe!

  51. I love the beaded johnny collar tunic top, among a few hundred other things. :)

  52. Oh my word, the amount of comments a Lands End giveaway invites! Well, I have to vote for the fleece vest but I must admit the cashmere robe (can you even imagine it?) would be a lovely addition to my very limited closet. Maybe when I become rich and famous….

  53. ooooo! I’ve been eyeballing me those all weather mocs in taupe! Not that I’d spend a whole gift card on myself. Okay, maybe I would. ;)

  54. My daughter is drooling over the girls’ hooded cardigan. I love the women’s mock turtlenecks. My husband would swoon over the men’s cashmere v-neck sweater…

  55. Women’s Baby Cable Cashmere Tee Sweater for me!

  56. Wow! This MUST be fate!! LOL I just subscribed to their mailing catalog and received it and would love to start buying some goodies from there! Please, please hook me up with this gc! :)I’m in love with the: Women’s Faux Shearling Hooded Duffle Coat!!

  57. I’m not the best of shoppers. However there were many many good choices to make. For now I’ll stick with the Women’s Marinac Jacket in Ivory – love the contrast of the interior color too.

  58. I love the Women’s ThermaCheck® 100 Half-zip Pullover. It would allow my husband to have his fleece jacket I wear around my chilly house back again! Thanks!

  59. Andrea Nerren Bell says:

I adore the faux shearling car coat in dark camel. I’m pretty sure I could conquer the world in this coat.

  60. For a free hundred bucks, I might have to splurge on one of the cashmere sweaters. I adore cashmere but never buy it since it’s so expensive. And Lands’ End makes such great stuff.

  61. I love the Marinac jacket. Either that or the cashmere tee sweater.

  62. I am really digging the Chalet Boots. I probably will have to have the Faux Shearling Tote to match too. :)

  63. I am always cold and I could really use the Faux Shearling vest. I love the high collar.
    Thanks.

  64. The shearling car coat is so cute and I really like the classic stretch no-waist boot cut jeans. It would be hard to choose, that’s for sure.

  65. Jennifer Casey says:

I was going to say “Women’s Petite Performance Knit Skort” but realized I don’t really need to dress up to play WII tennis. So, my actual choice would be “Women’s Regular Cashmere Argyle Tee Sweater” because I’m nothing if not on the cutting edge of fashion. Cashmere. Argyle. ‘Nuff said. :-)

  66. I”m really in love with the women’s weatherfield boots!

  67. Decisions, decisions, decisions. How is a girl to choose?? I love the jackets – I love the boots – I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cashmere sweaters. Oh, and did I mention the totes?? OH, MY GOODNESS!!

  68. Being pregnant I am a little limited in my options, but I love ALL of the boots, esp the shearling ones!

  69. LOVE so many of their items!! The coats they have are beautiful and there are so many I can’t even pick just one! I DO Love the cashmere sweaters and the Women’s Chunky Wool Cable Scrunchneck Sweater is gorgeous too! Can never have too many sweaters :)

  70. OH my! My son is in need of a coat. I love Land’s End kids’ coats , esp. when they are hand me downs. I like the kid sport squall in canyon orange. His current one is about 2 sizes too small. We dont’ need coats a whole lot around here but he has really started playing outdoors and it can get chilly when the sun goes down so we have started to price those things.

  71. My son needs a snowsuit so we can ski, so theBaby/Toddler Squall Snowsuit would be my first pick!

  72. Are you able to tell what your hubby had for lunch every day? I can! All I have to do is look at the front of his white polo shirt for the tell tale stains cause the man cannot find his mouth! I would spend the gift certificate on 3 new white polos in XLT (Dr Pepper, ketchup, and other assorted stains NOT included :-)

  73. It’s so hard to pick – I would ideally like to have one of everything. However, I really love the Ice Pink fleece vest! Too cute!!

  85. my husband needs a jacket! :-)

  86. ooh, the women’s wool walking coat is lovely!

  87. The thermal fleece pullover with half-zip. My husband has 3 & loves them, so I would like one after the baby is born (belly is too large right now). They are very breathable for not so cold days and lightweight (hey, we live in south central Texas; it is never cold for more than a few days).
