– Right now I am loving (LOV-ING) “Five More Hours” by The Gabe Dixon Band.

– My friend Shaw-awn – who travels all over the country (and sometimes Canada) and sings real purty and talks real good (for free!) so that kids all over the world can be released from poverty – is working on his touring schedule for the spring and early summer. And he needs our help.

– Okay. This is my last Bachelor-related link until, well, May – but here’s the low-down on all the drama from the show’s executive producer.

  1. Okay- love Gabe Dixon AND Dave Barnes. I’m going to get on booking Shawn as soon as I can for an event.

And lastly- I sponsor as many kids as I financially can for Compassion- how else can I help? I want to do more.

  2. I find it interesting that the culture thinks it was humiliating for Melissa to be dumped on TV, but it wasn’t humiliating for any of them to literally stand in line for their next turn with a man they hardly knew.

  3. Not sure how but I’ve never heard of the Gabe Dixon Band! My itunes library has been sorely deprived. Thank you for the link!

  4. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mamma of Boo.

    And I miss you.

When are you bringing me to Birmingham to sing purdy at your church and partake of your tater-tot casserole thing? It’s organic right?

  5. Don’t forget to watch Ellen tomorrow! Jason and Molly are on, which should be fun since Ellen has been griping since the drama started. Well, this week’s drama (gotta be specific because Bachelor is all drama, all the time)

  6. Thank you for the bachelor updates! im sooo over it already. lol. Will you be watch The Bachelorette?

  7. Went to see Jamie Cullum at a great outdoor venue in ATL about 4 yrs ago. When the opening act came out, I rolled my eyes — I was ready for Jamie Cullum! But then, said opening act opened his mouth and sang and I was smitten! Been a fan of Gabe Dixon since that evening. SO talented! It’s like he’s channeling a young Billy Joel.
