I also loved Amanda’s post. It’s so true…….I’m involved in women’s ministry at our church and being real is my mantra. What’s the stinkin’ point if we are all going to pretend all the time that we’re perfect? Who can stand that kind of pressure? Geesh!
Besides, God brings incredible people into our lives when we are at our lowest point. Friends, mentors, pastors, etc. I do not want to miss out on the joy of having someone else’s life intersect with mine at just the right moment. That right there is some Jesus at work!
Regarding The Help, it is also on my wish list to read. One of my good friends has already read it and said it’s awesome. She said I will love it. Now, to get my library to purchase it!
The book looks great…and must be a popular one. I’m 94th in line at the library to get it!!! Thanks for the suggestion!
