I rarely post on the weekends – much less twice in one weekend – but I read a couple of things this afternoon that I couldn’t wait to share.
– This post by Amanda is absolutely beautiful.
– This article on Mississippi State’s Jarvis Varnado made me smile, and if you’re a Bulldog fan, it’ll make you smile, too.
– Finally, this week’s Bible readings and Family Worship Guide are up on the Radical Experiment website. You can also watch this week’s sermon, which centers on last week’s Bible readings (files should be up sometime Monday).
I really will try to remember to share the Radical Experiment links every week, but know that I am a forgetful creature who often walks into a room with great purpose and then can’t remember what I ever meant to do in that room in the first place. So it might be a good idea to bookmark the Radical Experiment site. It’s updated every Sunday.

Did you see Tennessee’s big win today? WOOHOO!!! I’m just saying’ :)
Yes- Amanda’s post was wonderful. Very relatable for us all, Christian and non-Christian alike.
Loved Amanda’s post. Love you.
I read Amanda’s post and sooooo loved it :)
Thanks so much for posting the Radical Experiment links. The family worship guide is UH.MAZE.ING. Such a great resource. Thanks again!
I love to read “human interest” sports stories, and this one was especially good!
I also love fans who are “true to their school”, and you definitely fit that category!
Um, Boomer Sooner! :)
I was coming to tell you about Big Mama too. Glad y’all have it all under control! :)
Thank you for the link up to “Amanda”. It was so sweet! I love you AND the Vols! Good thing I operate under a big old tent of Christian love! :) Your the Best!!!
Love the article. My sweet hubby was working Saturday and I was shuffling my own bball team around to their games. He watched 1st half in lounge at hospital. I got the second half. We sent the text flying with our comments. Most included the word SWAT! That was a sweet win at the SAD PAD on Saturday. In fact, we were so excited over SEC part of season starting we are headed to the HUMP on Thursday!
Loved the article on Jarvis. He’s such a nice guy and I just giggle when they call him intimidating. Thanks for sharing. Hope this is the beginning of another great streak. GO DOGS!!!!
