On a completely unrelated note, a few people have emailed or commented to ask if I realllllly like the L’Oreal EverPure shampoo and conditioner that I mentioned Thursday.

Now keep in mind that I’ve only been using it a week, but it’s definitely my favorite shampoo-conditioner combo in a WHILE. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and the conditioner helps it to behave without being weighted down. I’m also a high-maintenance shampoo user in that a lot of the inexpensive shampoos make me itch (I know that sounds weird. Now I feel like my mama, who has always said that she simply cannot consume alcohol in any form because it makes her thumbs tingle).

So all that to say: Yes. I reallllly like it.

And finally.

Go ‘Dogs. :-)

  1. you are not alone in the cheap-shampoo-itching problem. the same thing happens to me! happy to get this review…it’s on my list to try.

    cowbell :)

  2. I haven’t seen this in a sweet forever. Thanks for the laughs!

  3. I can honestly say that I LOVE the L’Oreal shampoo…and the conditioner! It smells divine but beyond that it is awesome on fine, processed hair. I always buy Aveda but after using this (at 1/4th the price!!!) I am a L’Oreal Pure fan! It preserves my color and is so light on my hair. Love, love, love it!

  4. Sallie Belle Howell says:

MORE COWBELL!!!!! 14-7 in the 1st. Must I also say way to go Gamecocks! With the important stuff out of the way…
Is that why my head has been itching. I really like my suave…please don’t say I need to pay more. I have thick….needs to be colored hair. L’Oreal doesn’t sound like the stuff for me.

  5. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who has to be picky about shampoo or I get dry/itchy scalp.

  6. I also have the fine hair issue, but I have not tried this shampoo just yet. I will be headed to the Target in the morning, and I will try it.
and, what about those bulldogs?! I taught one of them in junior high, and I just love seeing him out there !

  7. I will have to try it. I haven’t used a “drugstore” shampoo for years because it makes my scalp itch! I love me some cowbell! :)

  8. The new EverPure shampoo & conditioner is the wind beneath my wings- err, my fluffy hairdo.

I dye my hair red (we’re all friends here, right? and if we can’t admit our hair dyeing truths amoung friends? then who can we admit them around?) & as we all know, the first shampoo or 2 after getting one’s hair colored red is akin to watching your life go down the drain- only it’s your money & instead of green, it’s red & you start questioning the meaning of life.

This s/c is so darn gentle. It doesn’t strip the color like other s/c’s. I love, love, love it.

and it just smells to darn pretty! :-)

  9. Drug store shampoo makes my head itch too!

  10. I have long ridiculously curly hair and this shampoo (With the pink cap) works wonders on it. Love, love, love it!

  11. Thanks for telling us about L’Oreal Everpure shampoo/conditioner. I went to my local drugstore and bought both and have used them for two days and I LOVE them. I have fine and VERY thin hair and this has done a great job of giving me lots of volume. I love it when you share suggestions about beauty products with us. I had never bought OPI nail polish until you mentioned it this summer and now that is the only nail polish I buy. Keep the suggestions coming, I really appreciate them.

  12. Excellent info it is definitely. We have been looking for this info
