A few years ago I started putting together a little gift guide for $20-ish gifts for teenage girls. I did this because one of the perks of my job is that I listen to teenage girls ALL DAY LONG, and it made sense to translate that knowledge into something other than an encyclopedic knowledge of Taylor Swift lyrics.
I also have a borderline encyclopedic knowledge of Adele lyrics, but that’s really neither here nor there.
ANYWAY, this year my gift guide is over at Ree’s blog. I had so much fun putting it together, and I hope it’ll help a few people who have found themselves standing in Bath & Body Works with some strawberry liquid soap and wondering, “Maybe she’ll like this? Maybe? Do teenagers even like soap anymore?”
:-)
Merry Christmas, y’all!

Pssshhhht. Teenagers? That may be the best gift guide ever period.
I think any young girl would love the cross-body bags! And I loved the portable phone charger — and just ordered one for myself! Thanks, Sophie!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This gift guide is the best. That bag is perfect for my 9 year old niece! (9 going on 19). I need one for a very very intellectual pre-teen boy.
Loved the gift guide since I have 8 grandchildren and 6 are teen girls! Only problem, the cute hair tie/bracelet was all out of stock before I saw the post today :( – I’ll have to keep this mind for next year – Christmas, birthdays, etc.
I’ll read you wherever. Great list!
My favorite holiday gift guide! I look forward to it and was waiting (not so) patiently for you to post something. With one teenage daughter and one tween girl – I have always been to find gifts for them or one of their girlfriends!
