Well, it’s our 300th episode – and our 15th podcast-i-versary – and Melanie and I are thrilled about both of these things. WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT. So, as you can imagine, we do a little reminiscing on this episode, but we also do a lot of talking about the here and now. That is because this is the week that Alex moves to college, and we have a lot to break down about that.

I’m so thankful the Lord saw fit to make BB happen. What a gift it has been to me. When I met you and Melanie in Brenham last year I told y’all that for a year y’all had been my only friends. My family had recently moved and because of COVID I didn’t have any friends in my new town. I bought a ticket to the Brenham show and that was that. I have listened to all the episodes both regular, Patreon, Really Fancy Patreon and all the books. It is safe to say I am ALL IN. I’m a 6 – so that’s the way I roll and I will be loyal forever. You and Mel brought me a lot of joy when I was in a really sad and lonely place. For that – I am grateful. Can’t wait to see what the next 15++++ brings!
Listening to your podcast is a highlight of my week. I love to hear you laugh, love the relatable stories as I have 2 kids in college and a sophomore in high school and just love how you two interact! Also, one of my friends used to work at Texas A&M with the Corps of Cadets. Congratulations on this milestone and thanks for sharing your life and tales with us!

I’m so proud of you guys for making it to 300! I’ve been listening to the show for about 3 years and crack up on pretty much every episode. I lost my parents when I was 16 so listening to you guys talk about sending your kids to college and having that experience with them somehow heals something in me that I didn’t realize I had missed.
