Washington State Cougar here ??????? What an utter delight and surprise to hear you mention our logo on the podcast! It was created in 1936, first with the WSC letters shaping the cougar, then the C turning into a U when we moved from a college to a university. Totally biased, but I also think it’s the best in the country. However, I do miss the Cougar script on the helmets from the 90s when I was a student there. Go Cougs!
