If you happen to have a CVS drugstore in your area, they have a special on Coke products this week:
Five 12-packs for $11.
That averages out to, you know, cheap as can be per 12-pack. Or $2.20. Or, even better, 18 cents per Coke.
ISN’T THAT EXCITING?
I’m going to go BUCK WILD and buy all manner of Coke products: diet Coke with lime, caffeine free diet Coke, Coke, regular diet Coke, etc. I envision having to clear out a special place in the laundry room to store all the Coca-Cola goodness, and THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
And because I love a bargain, I just thought I’d share.
Go stock up, internets.

I checked it out and the closest store is in Santa Fe, NM (344 miles away) or Amarillo, TX (384 miles away with 4 stores there!). So it seems, with gas prices what they are — $3.19 a gallon!– I’d be just as well go to the local grocery store. That makes it a bargain to go local :)

And did’ja notice any iced tea sales? I broke my diet coke habit (of umpteen decades) and now I drink iced tea. Alot. But I’m not addicted or in denial or any of those “issues.” I can quit any time. I *can*. Won’t waist the one I have in my hand right now, of course…..

Great tip! I’m going to stop by before carpool. If you ever find yourself at the CVS on the corner of DR and RR Road, come on by – you’re almost to my house! :) Seriously, if you’ve never been to our CVS, it’s worth a visit! It’s right by Andy’s flower market, Andy’s vegetable market (worth the trip alone – fresh vegetables, peas already shelled and waiting for you!!) and El Poblano (yummy local mexican!).

Oh, I am on the way! I’m so in love with Cherry Coke Zero that it’s sort of sad. What’s even sadder? That I’m terrified that they will discontinue it because I’m the only one that drinks it so I keep buying it in bulk and telling everyone in earshot that they should love it too!

BOOMama… and everyone else…. Ya’ll HAVE to try COKE ZERO!! I am an avid Diet Coke drinker- but once I took a sip of this yummy goodness… I was HOOK’D!!! :) If it is on sale at your local CVS- buy it- in fact, buy 2. You will LOVE it!!!! I aslo tried the Coke Black- that is YUMMY too. I only had a few sips… but all I could picture it with was ice cream that= dangerous! :)

Noooo! Not that nasty-tasting Coke stuff! The only sensible purpose for drinking any carbonated beverage is self-medication by caffeine, and Mountain Dew is the better choice. It actually tastes good, too! I have to drink it warm or I end up drinking too much of it doing things that might make the neighbors call the police if I’m not careful.
Have your tried the new Diet Coke Plus? I am a little bit addicted to it. I first got it because CVS had the little 20 oz. bottles for only $0.99, so I picked one up on my way to work one night. I love it…and a little bit of vitamins and minerals can’t hurt, right?
