Something Sweet For Valentine’s

Watching Alex open his Valentines from his Mother’s Day Out friends made my heart explode just a teeny. tiny. bit. He would look at each one and say, “OH, MAMA – it’s for Alex, and it’s BEAUTIFUL!”

I’m afraid I’m smitten with this little fella.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. All together now——-“Awwwwwwwwwww,”
That is so precious. My Baby is 18 and about to graduate from high school and go on to college this fall. I’ll post a pic on my blog later tonight of my baby. Better enjoy your baby while you can, boomama, you’ll turn around one of these days and you’ll be looking up at him and making him bend over for hugs and sugar. And it’s not as far off as you think, I promise you. He is adorable. Does he get his looks from you, his daddy, or yes?

  2. Well, I’ve been TOLD that we resemble each other. :)

  3. There seems to be a “gene” on my and Sister’s side of the family that is, as they say, STRONG. So A. really resembles me, my siblings, my nephews, you name it. Mama says that his personality is exactly like Sister’s was as a toddler – non-stop talking, never meets a stranger, and would stay on the go from dusk til dawn if he could. He’s what you might call a PISTOL. :-)

  4. boomama,

My daddy used to say my youngest sister, Lisa, and I could tear up a steely ball (otherwise known as a ball-bearing), with a kleenex, lol. :)We weren’t mean, just curious and mischievous, and it sounds like you have yourself one just like that. He is gorgeous, and not too long in the future you will have to beat the girls off him with a big stick. They’re starting to “go out” together younger and younger, you know…….lol. Sister seems to think he got an abundance of her good looks genes…..ha ha.

  5. Yes, Alex could tear up a steely ball with a kleenex, too. :-) That is so funny.
I am getting my big stick ready – never hurts to be prepared, even if he is just (almost) 3.

  6. He’s a little hottie, boomama, and I see lots of stick-wielding in your future–and sooner than you think. :)

  7. Lea Margaret says:

I could just eat him up!!! Mac sends a Valentine HIGH FIVE!

  8. Boo sends a Valentine knuckle five right back at him. :-)

  9. I COULD EAT HIM UP TOO. I THINK HE LOOKS LIKE YOU BUT I CAN SEE D TOO. PERFECT MIXTURE!!
