So here I am in the car at a gas station in Mississippi – on the way to Memphis – looking like I could use a touch of powder and maybe even a shot of Botox in the forehead area. And yes, this is the first time I’ve put a picture of me on the blog, but this one tickled me because of the Mini-Me back there in the car seat.
Here’s Alex, who was entertaining his Aunt Janie at the time.
A. and H. ham it up while eating their chicken. Oh, what a clever play on words that was. :-)
And yes, it’s perfectly permissible if you think these three are the cutest cousins you’ve ever seen.

I thought it was supposed to be “One Hot Mama….” ;) I have to say, those are some strong genes y’all have goin’ on there. I see LOTS of family resemblance here. Do y’all argue over whose baby and kid pics those are? We have a few like that, where we have to talk about who died in what year, and that couldn’t possibly be “whoever” because Aunt Dogooder had her gallbladder out then, and Grandma Candygiver was still living at that time…. and so on and so on. Have a good time, BooMama, and more pics, please. I don’t believe that’s “Slap Yo’ Mama” puddin’ in that cup, is it? :-)
Funny thing my mind is doing tonight. I was just thinking to myself…gosh everyone always post pics of their kids but you never see pics of the awesome friends/mommies you have in the blogosphere that you chat with everyday? I’m think I’m going to start a series of post ‘Yo Mama Pic’ day. Loved seeing a shot of you even if it was just a half of your face! :) (Love the specs too!)
BTW – what heartbreakers you’ve got there!
You made my day! Now I can picture you when I read your writing; before I just had to be creative!! And maybe you and A. could be twins separated by gender and birthdate?? :)
Hey, those look sorta like my glasses! You look so cute, I’m glad you put up a shot of you! And you’re right those are some cute kiddos!
I can understand why you didn’t give A. the slap-yo-mama pudding. I would hate to have him act out and do ‘that’ in front of the family! Glad you’re having a good time! Did you ever get to eat last night, or did things go the way of the ‘Donner Party’?
OOOOOOOOHHH! You just made my day.
I saw Boomama! I saw Boomama!
I’m giddy with excitement.
CUTE haircut, BooMama. Didn’t you just get it cut the other day? Love the style. And color. J.’s house looks pretty!
Yes, we have STRONG genes. You could take that last photo with the 3 cousins and easily insert names from our generation of cousins.
They are soooo adorable…and SWEET!
xo,
Auntie
LOVE your hairdo! And your glasses! You are looking very hip, my dear. Alex is getting so big. I just can’t stand it. Give him a high five from my big boy!
XO
That’s a GREAT picture, classic mom look. I love it! :)
After having a boy, I’m always careful when I see boys smiling… it means they’re up to something! So cute.
So I’m wondering how you took that photo – the outreached arm thing, and since I cant see that far even with my glasses likely I wouldnt have gotten any of my face, but then youre a bit younger than me.
Again, like Leslie in Haply Thinking, love putting a face with a heart. Have a great vacation!
Cute kids. Alex does look a lot like you. Both of you are adorable.
Hope you’re having a great time!
The picture was a happy accident…I just held out the camera with one arm, snapped, and got both of us…I was trying to take a weird-angle picture of the toddler. And trust me, LM, any “hip” factor is purely accidental. :-) I’m out of contacts right now…but I did get a haircut yesterday, and today I’ve got it good and funky, just like I like it, sticking out all over my head. :-)
Well, keep up whatever you are doing! You look FABU, Darling!
Oh you are so cute BooMama, I’m happy to be able to put a face to your writing. Adorable family!
I love seeing pictures of each other. It makes it all seem so much more real! So thanks for the half – shot of you!
:)
