Better Now?

Okay, all-you-internets-who-are-terribly-distressed-that-the-blog-is-out-of-whack.

Does everything look normal again?

I think I cropped the last round of pictures too big – it looks normal on my monitor, but some people seem to be having trouble, and since I LIVE TO SERVE OTHERS, I’m trying to fix the problem.

Also: everything looks fine on my end of the world. So I’m trying to fix a problem I can’t actually see, and that is loads of fun.

In other words: YOUR HAPPINESS IS IMPORTANT TO ME. :-)

Holla back in the comments.

I have to scroll way down to find your post. For two days I thought your blog wasn’t even up! :) Good luck.

  2. I never noticed a problem in the first place…so I’m no help. Maybe because my monitor is a widescreen, everything fit fine for me.

But I just had to ask…can you believe Melinda is gone??? I’m sure it is because everyone thought she was safe, so they cast a billion votes for the one they wanted to be in the finale with her. I just hope SHE realizes that is what happened. I’d hate for her to think that we didn’t all KNOW she was the best and we all EXPECTED her to win the whole thing! I’m sooo disappointed, but now I must cheer for Jordin. She is my other favorite, and from day one I wanted to see Melinda and Jordin in the finale….sigh.

  3. I never have any problems with seeing your blog in all its beauty! It is lov-e-ly from Colorado!!

Sorry your girl was voted off Idol…I haven’t been watching this year (watched with Mandisa last year! because of Mandisa, too), but I’ve been keeping up with who is who through you.
Have a great Thursday. Tell the Geese “Honk” for me!
    Love ya!
    Holly

  4. BooMama, thank you for your servant heart.

I too have to scroll pretty far down on the page to find the most current entry. Your “What’s For Dinner” link is not working on my page. No hand appears nor is anything highlighted that will allow me to click and open this link. It is important to me to know what you are preparing for dinner.

    Thanks.

  5. Looks fine in Firefox!

    Have a happy Thursday!

  6. I too have to scroll way down under the sitemeter information before I see a post.

  7. Muuuuch better! Thanks a bunch!

  8. I use Firefox and have never had any problems viewing anything, nor is anything out of order. Must be an IE problem. Some people have problems with my header being cafloonky with IE.

Have a good Thursday, and happy fixing something that you can’t see to tell how it’s broken! ;-)

  9. Emma Kate says:

Hey!!! I’m having to scroll down a bunch — no big deal though if you can’t fix it!! love love

  10. Still scrolling. But that’s OK! :>) I’ll scroll if I have to-anything for my BooMama fix.

  11. Ditto to the scrolling down!

  12. Elizabeth says:

Everything OK here (IE) and haven’t had any problems. Thanks for the smiles!

  13. Everything looked okay over here on my end today!!! :)

  14. Still scrolling here. I even tried to “refresh” that works sometimes, but not this one. Things that make you go hmmmmmm???

  15. Hey, since we all are talking about your blog. Do you know if you could put one of those theme switcher things on, and then load all of your past themes on to it, because I still love your last theme (the brown flower one). Anyway its just a suggestion.

Oh and your blog looks fine on my computer, I have a widescreen moniter so maybe that is why it looks fine.

    -Shelia

  16. I still have to scroll way down (IE). Phew! It’s been happening for a few days. I thought it was just me…

And I desperately wanted to see the “What’s for Dinner” addition! (Ok, maybe not desperately, but you know)

  17. On my work computer (Dell) I have to scroll way down to see your post.

On my home computer (MAC -which I love almost more than my children) it is fine.

  18. I haven’t noticed anything! Strange! :-)

  19. Looks fine here–nothing was ever out of whack.

But HELLO? When are you going to discuss the horror of last night’s AI??

  20. Every things seems to be working fine in this part of the country. Going to your site on my laptop.

  21. Jennifer says:

Still having to scroll 1/2 way down…but for you, I will scroll.

  22. Maybe it is a widescreen problem…here at (shhhh!) work I have to scroll waaaay down (which is terribly inconvenient, by the way), :) , but at home where I have the widescreen, it looks okay.

I told you yesterday that it looks as if you don’t have any posts at all until you scroll down.

    I’m loads of help, I know. :)

    xo

  23. Like another commenter, I didn’t know you had posted for a couple of days, then I decided to scroll down. Once I scrolled down, I found your post. I still have to scroll half way down to find it. But of course when the comment section is included, your post is up at the top.

  24. Methinks it’s a widescreen issue. At home I have no problem. Just fyi, here at work, your post shows up right below the last thing you have in your left-hand sidebar.

  25. Purrrfect.

  26. I see everything just fine. But I never had a problem with it in the first place.

BTW, are you still using your e-mail addy from your place of employment, or should I be using this charter.net addy? Or do you have gmail? I sent you something, but I haven’t heard back.

Or, maybe you are just busy, in which case, I understand.

    :-)

  27. I’m having to scroll way down to find your posts. Can’t you just run some code or something? :-)

  28. Um, so when I load your page lately (this time included), the new posts appear about even with the Christian Women Online Blog Ring side bar logo, leaving a big empty space in the middle of my screen. Nothing I can’t handle, though…

  29. Gracie Girl says:

BooMama, I cant believe you just wrote “Holla Back.” I wish I knew you outside of the internet….

  30. I still have problem. For me, it all started after the “What’s for Dinner” button was put in. But if to fix it, you have to take that out, then leave it be. I can scroll down.

  31. Elizabeth says:

Everything was fine before. Now it’s totally out of whack.

  32. I still have to scroll, but it’s OK. My finger needs the extra “mouse roller thingy” workout anyway.

  33. You look lovely darling!

    On a mac with firefox…..

  34. Mac, check. Safari, check. Over and out.

  35. Looks bad on my end … your blog still has a big space on top.

Yes. I’m pouting. It’s because I have to do extra work like scrolling, and such.

  36. Well, I am not sure about all this blog-problem-scrolling-rig-a-ma-roll, but I did just engaged in a little ‘Boomama: A Look Back’ and read some your old (and goes without saying, hilarious) posts…my lands, it will always be worth the scrolling. :)

Good luck with the blogprob. Hopefully it will be easily resolved…have a wonderful night!

  37. Honestly, I heard about the results show on AI last night and had to know if you had posted anything about it.

  38. Looks good to me!!

  39. all looks fine on my end.

    good luck gotta love it.

  40. shelley says:

    YAY! Woo Hoo!

    Thank you!

    I feel whole again!

  41. I have to scroll waaay down to see the posts. I thought that maybe the page wasn’t loading. The posts are there, but I have to scroll.

  42. Having to scroll. But I’ll scroll for ya!

  43. Scrollin’, scrollin’, scrollin’
    I am still a scrollin’…
    Scrollin’ halfway do-wn the page.

    I am so easily amused.

  44. scrolling…

  45. suzanne says:

Scrolling on my little old screen, too….no widescreen here. But it’s ok since I know that what will show me your sassy self.

  46. I have to scroll down too. It’s been this way for days now. This happened to me one time and it had something to do with a picture I posted. It was too large. Once I downsized it and made sure the lettering on my post was okay, the problem was solved. Hope you can figure it out.

  47. Wooooo, wait a second right there, missy pants … what happened to your swanky spring thang???

Not that I don’t like your old look, I do — really, I do — but when you said “I’ve taken off everything new since the beginning of the week” I thought you meant pictures and stuff … not the gorgeous orange and lime green diva of a template I’ve so grown to love.

Now, I’ll be craving chocolate every time I read you. Which is daily. I better not gain any weight!!

And yes, emptying the cache did work, and daggone it, why didn’t I think of that myself?

  48. Okay, I was here last night, read your post about the blog being out of whack, but it looked exactly as it always had before. Then this morning I clicked on your blog and WOW! It’s totally different. Having said that, this is a VERY cool new design and I’m lovin it! Ta for now dahling!

  49. I was having to scroll down for a couple of days, but now things are great. Honestly, I thought it was something wrong on my end and never gave it a thought that it could be on your end! I’m crazy like that!

I like both of your designs…. the chocolate one and the cute springy one are both great! :-)

  50. Ummm, I cleared out my cookies (internet speak) and your website looks fabulous now! Before it was showing the old look and I had to scroll down. Now, after clearing said cookies, I see the new look and its beautiful!

  51. my eyes have seen the glory! i love your blog but the old/new look didn’t work for me-had to scroll down, print hard to read or cut off. great now-thanks!
