I’m hopeful that I’ll have an actual, you know, POST (WITH PICTURES!) up later today for the Fashion Fiesta.
Because I believe in bloggy goals, my friends.
However, I did not meet this morning’s blogging goals because we had a little shindig at our house last night, and as Big Mama so succinctly said in an email yesterday, I’ve been very busy distributing Chex Mix to people.
I also made two pound cakes, and one of them hasn’t even been sliced yet, so may I offer you some for breakfast?
No? Really? Well, suit yourself.
Anyway, for the time being, LOOK! A BLOGGY BUTTON!

Have fun, everybody!
And adios.
Word.

::waves:: Hi! °Ü°
i would LOVE pound cake for breakfast! thanks!!
Of course pound cake can be a breakfast food….you’ve got your major food groups, grain, dairy, protein(eggs)…..what better way to start the day? It’s the breakfast of champions…you my friend, are a champion!:)
Hand me some pound cake please. I’m not feeling all that great today and would love something somebody else made . . . especially some good, southern pound cake with 6 eggs or more, butter galore and sugar out the wazoo.
I’ll be back to see you fiesta, dahling!
Hope the “shindig” was awesome!!!! I’ll excuse you for your late posting!
Oh absolutely pound cake for breakfast!! Toasted just right! Yuuumm!! Maybe with some strawberries? Or blueberries? And whipped cream? My fabulous southern grandmother has been feeding everybody in sight with her pound cake for breakfast for years. And it is wonderful every time.
And now off to eat oatmeal, Sigh.
:)
Nothing would make me happier than a slice of pound cake for breakfast! Yum!
Sign me up for the pound cake…it’s just about my favorite (right after Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake). Yummy.
Don’t know how I managed to spell my own name wrong….but that would be “Faith” with an “F”!
did you have people sitting on the steps playing the guitars? oh i kid.
Pound cake for breakfast? Yum! Toasted with some butter, scrumptious.
I’ll take some of that cake. Time and food never should matter to each other.
I’m hoping to get some good tips I think I am fashion challenged.
My kids are out of school today to use an unused bad weather day. After our cereal this morning, which was actually at about 10:30am (almost lunch time right?) We each grabbed a couple of oreo’s and dunked them in our milk. Some days are just worth celebrating with cookies in the morning. If I would have know you had pound cake we would have just stopped by.
OK, woman — I know the Fiesta will be fun and all, but I’ve been here maybe 28 THOUSAND times today to get your reaction to AI eliminations last night.
WHAT HAPPENED?!
Oh, and yes, I would love some pound cake, or really any other baked good for that matter. I’m still so shaken by last night’s elimination that nothing but flour and sugar and perhaps a bit of lard will ease my pain. *SOB*
Hand over the poundcake AND the Chex Mix, darlin’. It’s PMS time and I am eating EVERYTHING!!! Which makes it all the better that I have a fashion secret in my closet that covers up all evidence of both the PMS bloat and the eating. and that was a sentence fragment.
Waiting… waiting…. waiting….
Because inquiring minds want to know what fashion looks like at BooMama’s house.
For the most loyal Diet Coke drinkers, here’s what it looks like at mine.

Welp, breakfast is looooong over, but I’ll still have some pound cake!
mmmmmm…pound cake for breakfast…cut into little squares…dipped with a fork into milk….it’s no wonder I wear a size fat-in-the-butt…
Checking in on your fabulous fashion sense. Not here. Sob.
I’m hosting a meme this weekend – Weekend Warriors. If you have a project you’d like to accomplish, I hope you’ll share before and afters here and list it on the Mr. Linky at my blog.
The requirements are minmimal to participate. Even if all you’re doing is drinking diet Coke and eating Doritos, you could show the before full packaging, and the after empty packaging.
oh yummy poundcake. and boomama you must discuss the return of our beloved Dunder Mifflin friends.
Never had pound cake for breakfast but there’s always a first… oh yes there is..
Chex Mix? Did you say CHEX MIX? Oh my word, and I only had to drive to Alabama.
(Thank you for mentioning my big news in your daily webby news site, Sophie. I so hope it inspired other people to get off their rear ends and do what I did. If I can do it, for petes sake, anyone can do it.)
