That fancy tenderloin? Was delicious.
I’m understandably excited about the roasted peaches with mascarpone sponge cake and vanilla ice cream.
Can y’all I’m typing exactly what the menu on the table says? Because I would probably call our dessert a cake-y peach cobbler with Blue Bell.
And I just realized that David Crowder is here. In this very room.
And I SQUEALED, y’all. Loudly. And conspicuously.
Because I am very, very cool.

Can YOU tell that I’m sitting on my couch while the boys play peekaboo beside me, working on a client’s design, hitting refresh here every couple minutes, and thinking you ARE definitely very, very cool?
OH!!! It sounds like you are having a blast!!!! What exactly are these awards, anyway? Aren’t the Dove awards this week? Is this the same thing? (Forgive my ignoramous questions if they are indeed ignoramous.)
Jeannie
Who is David Crowder?
I’m with you on the name of the dessert though!!
OH, scream once more, just for me, K??
Oh poor Cindy has never heard of Crowder! He’s just a great wonderful worship leader. His lyrics are poetic. He’s fun and just wonderful.
I’m almost feeling I’m not worthy of reading BooMomma’s blog, for she has sat in the same room as Crowder.
Oh no she did not just ask Who is David Crowder! Just quoted him today, I did. He lead worship for 4 days about 5 years ago at a sweet leaders conf. of about 400 of us. Dude, it was a-ma-zing. I’m glad to know I read a blog of someone who is very, very cool indeed. I wouldn’t want to be all alone. HA!
Oh I love David Crowder. Tell him I said hi. He doesn’t know me at all, but tell him anyway.
Keep living the dream, Boo. Keep living the dream!
Seeing Chris Tomlin…did it make you want to raise your hands and sing “How Great is Our God” very loudly?
Cause that’s what I would do.
I’m stuck on Cindy not knowing David Crowder.
Surely there’s a Remedy for that…
hardy har
Have fun and keep it coming! :)
I just squealed knowing you were in the same room with David Crowder…
I concur with Dawn, kepep living the dream, Boo, keep living the dream…
as we live vicariously through you :o)
I’m so jealous! We just came home from Nashville yesterday (soccer tournament!) and LOVED it! We were ready to have our stuff shipped up to us and move in.
Hey go to the Donut Den near the Vandy campus and get some yummy donuts. We ate 2 dozen. For breakfast. (Health food)
Yum.
And that other stuff you are eating sounds good too. Fix me a plate, will ya?
OK- I just have to ask… Just exactly how are you live blogging? I assume you have your laptop- do you have to put it away and pull it out between courses? What happens to the place settings? Does anyone else around you have their laptop out?
Inquiring minds want to know!!!
(Oh and I’m totally jealous too!)
David Crowder rocks. Because he’s not your typical “soft rock” Christian singer.
Second, I think you’re great for giving us a play-by-play of the food. Lovin’ it!
Oh, and does the tenderloin beat out a bucket o’ fried chicken?
Oh, I am so stinkin’ jealous right now!
so.stinkin.jealous.
I just had a bowl of Kashi with blueberries for dinner.
Can you save me the leftovers?
Oh, and maybe a small slice of Chris Tomlin? What an amazing heart he has.
I love, love, love that you’re living your dream! It makes me all tingly.
BTW, just ate my first-ever meal at Sonic last night. We northerners are a bit slow on the uptake it would seem. This is the first Sonic to pop up here in our state’s fine capital. (Columbus, O)
This means we can officially be friends now. Well, as soon as I try my first grits…
just discovered your blog…very fun and refreshing…I’ll be back for sure and I am linking you on mine too !!
OK, if parts one and dos did not make me jealous, part tres did. David Crowder Band….
So is your laptop up on the table next to the peachy cobbler? How is this working?
Maybe Chris Tomlin and David Crowder can come by and do some photo booth pictures! (We would all ooh and aah.)
I am equally envious of the great food and great people you’re experiencing! Go girl!
I want to know how you didn’t know he was there…that hair would give him away!!
I love that you are giving fancy singers and fancy food equal billing. It is as it should be.
Am enjoying your updates very much. Thank you for letting us “be there” with you via your live blogging!
good food. good music. good company. sounds like a little piece o’ heaven to me!
I love that you said that Chris Tomlin is “in this very room”…that takes me back to TX Baptist All-State Choir and a lovely sign language-enhanced version that we sang (slash signed). Good Times!!
