Let me just preface by saying that I have a 92 lb dog who looks like Chewbacca. I also have 2 cats that crap in a box and track kitty litter all over the place.
Soooo…my house cleaning tools have to be at a certain level of awesomeness. I think this vacuum would make my life happier and easier. I am so tired of cleaning 40 billion leaves and trillions of tiny kitty litter granules off of the floor. But it might be bearable with this machine.
I have been married for 12 years and I have never bought a vacuum cleaner. My husband came into our marriage with a vacuum from his mother and my guess is that it is 30+ years old.

I would like to win the vacuum, but I’m afraid I wouldn’t feel right with one that gives part of its proceeds to Susan G. Komen. On the surface they seem like a good organization, but part of their profits go to Planned Parenthood (a.k.a. Abortion promotion). Lurve it…lurve it…want it! It just kills my old back (I’m really old) to lug a vacuum up and down the stairs. The ancient model I have upstairs coughed and died from dust intoxication! I would lurve a new Oreck. I have a vacuum from another well known vacuum company, but it has not fared so well with two moves and a home remodel.

Oreck, you’re the best! I neeeeed this Oreck because my silly old vacuum is broken. If I need to vacuum my carpet I have to use my broom and dustpan! Sad, but true.
We have spent a fortune on vacuum sweepers over the past 15 years and have yet to find “the one”. This one has been highly recommended by friends and family. I saw the pink version on TV last week and felt some serious coveting. I would SO love to give this baby a new home. :-)

First, the pink. Adorable! My little two-year-old daughter and I would be ecstatic.
And second, my allergies are so horrible that I have to have sinus surgery in a couple weeks… I’ve been thinking that maybe a nice new (pink!) hypo-allergenic vacuum would help a bit!
o.k. this is the truth and I’m not trying to draw out sympathy here. However, We are in the midst of a 5+ year struggle of trying to get out of debt and go into full time ministry as missionaries. We have 2 precious little girls 2 and 4. I would LURVE an Oreck because I have asthma, and (I’m not making this up) vacuuming my house actually makes me sick. A hypoallergenic vacuum cleaner would literally be a breath of fresh air.
I didn’t know that a vacuum could be CUTE! Everything is more enjoyable when you have something cute…and it’s stinkin’ cute. It is more than a vacuum…it’s a fashion accessory! I’m thinking that if I told my 12 yr old daughter that I picked it up at Claire’s then she’d jump at using it!
Besides the whole cute thing, I would love a vacuum that is easy to carry up and down the stairs, so my upstairs has hope of being vacuumed before Jesus returns.

I’d love to win it because my current vacuum is from my single/pre-kid days, about 10 years old, and may I nicly say i’m beginning to doubt it’s sucking abilities? Or at least it’s ability to suck up after my 2 boys.

You saw my vaccuum explode all over the family room yesterday and make the kind of mess that only, really, a vaccuum can clean up! There are very few things in this world that would make me happier than a good vacuum cleaner. Very Few. I’m tired of buying a cheap vacuum every year – and my whining for a nice one does absolutely no good.

I love this vacuum for three reasons – 1. It’s PINK! 2. It’s vacuuming at its easiest because it is so LIGHT! 3. It’s light enough that my children can become vacuum masters.

Girl…I bought a “got what you paid for” vaccume over the summer. Now- I am sure loving that! We need to buy a new one, but thanks to our new, higher, “fun loving” mortage payment.. we won’t be buying anything fun. (Yes- I consider a new vaccume fun…sad, very sad.) :)

Our current vacuum cleaner weighs 1,000,000 lbs. which means only my husband can use it. Consequently, our home gets vacuumed about twice a year. Something about that doesn’t seem right.
