Oooooh! Pick me! Pick me! I have been through three hand-me-down vacuum cleaners and one new one (wedding gift) that has never worked properly. I’ve only dreamed of owning the “Cadillac” of vacuum cleaners. Besides, we finally got new carpet in our bonus room and really need to keep it clean this time (now that we’re dog-free and our children are past the baby spit-up stage).

I would lurve to win an Oreck, if not for the sole feature that it will outlast any vaccum that I have ever owned (or probably all of them combined) – and, the self adjusting height feature is pretty snazzy, too!
Our current vacuum is a beast, so the lightweight Oreck would be wonderful!
Not to mention that it’s a Clean for the Cure. I was diagnosed a year ago at 35 years old, and I’m so thankful for any contribution that goes toward breast cancer research.
My vacuum is dead and my checkbook is close behind. I am praying for God to intervene on my behalf, “if it’s his will”. And it is Pink no doubt, can’t beat that.
I love how they put the pink colors in for EVERY HOUSEWIFE!! lol. Of course I do the vacuuming here because I am the only one who lives here now. But my kids used to help and so did my husband. Good times!

I try and vacuum as much as I can (my vacuum recently broke BTW and I am using my grandma’s Rainbow), but that dust wins every time!

Oreck has such great products! I think this would be the perfect vacuum for my home because I have carpet and wood floors. I also have children with asthma and I think a good vacuum would help them.

There are definitely a few reasons that I’d love this. Despite the fact that having such an incredible vacuum would be wonderful just by itself ….. I don’t have a vacuum, not at all, so I think I would “lurve” this most simply to rectify that situation :).

*sigh* I’d luuurve to have an Orek because I have a Norwegian Elkhound who sheds YEAR ROUND, plus two REALLY BIG sheds a year where we end up practically with an extra DOGS worth of HAIR!!! Unfortunately, the one upstairs has a cord that is taped together and since there is no hall closet, it has to just stand against the wall. Bee-U-ti-ful.
The downstairs one doesn’t stand up on its own anymore. It just falls over. Too tired, I guess! LOL

Hi! I would love this vacuum because my husband used my vacuum to try to clean wet carpeting. Now when I vacuum I smell mold. Lesson learned: Never let your husband do laundry or vacuum!

Ummm….first of all, it’s pink :-) In a household of men, it’ll be so much fun to vacuum with pink (or watch my Man do it!) Second of all, the handheld weighs 5 pounds. That’ll be a lifesaver in my straight up and down townhouse with carpeted white (why would anyone choose white carpet..ever?) stairs.
Uh, this is like a dream vacuum. I shouldn’t need to say more! :) :) :) But it really, really, really would come in handy!

I would love to have this vaccuum because I have bought several vaccuums, been given several vaccuums and still have disgusting carpet … there is nothing like vaccuuming and feeling the stuff (that your 3 children dropped while you weren’t looking) go directly under the vaccuum and hit you in the front of the legs!! And…. the current one that half-way picks up has discontinued bags and belts! By the way, thank you for making me smile on a regular basis … you lift my spirits. =)

Unlike a lot of your commenters, I actually really NEED a vacuum. I’ve bought several of the cheap ones through the years and they always break on me. The one I have now is a 30 year old Panasonic (I didn’t even know they made vacuums!) that a friend who is going off to be a missionary gave me (she felt sorry for me) but despite no side hose, no attachments, several holes in the cord, I can not afford even a cheap vacuum right now. Pathetic I know. I even started a business to help raise some money so I could get a new vacuum. This Panasonic is now making a metal-scraping-metal sound when I run it which is scary. I don’t really “need” an Oreck….I’m an American, I don’t really “need” much of anything. But I could use a free vacuum and I can appreciate the quality of an Oreck after all the dumb vacuums I’ve been through AND I’ve probably made this too long so I won’t get picked.

Well, this is cool! We need a new vacuum — and I LOVE pink! I have never had an Oreck — I don’t think I have ever even seen a real live one in person — but everything I read about them sounds wonderful.
I would lurve to win the pink oreck, because it would match perfectly with my ALL PINK KITCHEN!!! (seriously my kitchen is pink and white – check out my blog for pictures) And it would be so nice to be able to carry something that is as light as a feather instead of my ever-so-heavy monster of a vacuum!!!
