Up From The Grave She Arose

New hard drive? Check.

Handy husband who completely took apart my Hoopty Laptop, installed the new hard drive and then put it all back together again? Check.

Handy husband who recovered my iTunes collection, copied all my iPhoto stuff from the back-up drive to New & Improved Hoopty and even put a cute picture of our little guy on the desktop? Check.

Happy mama? Check.

So. Despite my missing emails and the fact that I couldn’t get a CD in the disk drive if my life depended on it, Hoopty’s back and better than before. For $60 and some change. Which means:

Happy checkbook? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK.

Hallelujah.

  48. Oh what a blessing indeed!!!! You keep that man, no matter how much he might drive you crazy at times…

  49. I believe the whole economic crisis was a prophetic forerunner to the blinking question mark on the blue screen. That moment must have been apocalyptic for you. May we never know that kind of horror!

  50. I do believe D bailed you out.

Maybe he could give the US Government a call? I think they could use some help.
