Now I know – I KNOW – that lately there have been more giveaways than usual around these bloggy parts. But since it’s Christmas, and since the economy has, um, taken a bit of a hit this year, I’ve been a little more giveaway-ish than I normally am. I would get matching pjs for my little one and the little one on the way! I LOVE matching pjs:) (And I would probably get myself something practical like a new bra…why are they so hard to find?! )
I actually did a large portion of my Christmas shopping at Kohl’s. Boy do they know how to treat their customers. Credit card holders get coupons every month, sometimes up to 30% off.
I would buy clothes for my boys. They have great prices on boys’ clothes.

I could be selfish and buy a mandolin (the slicer, not the intrument) or some Fiestaware. But in the spirit of the season, I would probably donate it to Toys for Hope, a Long Island charity for children.

Well, since I accidentally washed my husband’s belt the other day (why do they not take them out of their pants?), I’d be replacing that, and getting him a second one since they’re buy one, get one half off. That braided leather Relic belt would be nice with jeans. That might leave me with enough to pick up some of those Soffe shorts on clearance for my daughter!
Oh…. I would purchase one of the Kitchen Aid mixers…I have had my eye on one for several years…

I would so get my mom new bedding for her guest room. It used to be my room and contained a waterbed. She is finally removing the water mattress and putting in a real box springs and mattress. I think it’s time to also remove the ’80s spread that went with the country blue, cream and rust striped wallpaper.

Hubby has been gushing about this thing for weeks. I found out yesterday it makes tea! and hot CHOCOLATE! So I’m thinking it may be on his Christmas list this year and $50 off would make it a much better present.
Jeans. For both my 5 and 7 year olds. Because the ones I bought for them right when school started this fall were too short for them by about the 3rd day of school. Argh. Need them some jeans before they realize that highwaters just aren’t cool. :)

KOHL’S how I love thee! I would buy some new Carter’s for my baby boy, preferably with little animal faces on the feet! I LOVE Kohl’s!!! I always find great deals there. I would buy my hubby an Indianapolis Colts sweatshirt (couldn’t find one on the website, but I know our store has them). Or I might by myself a pair of black shoes. Those are more of a need than a want at the moment.
I’d buy some new luggage for our trip to Disney in March or a backpack for Lucky, since The Mighty Hunter doesn’t like for him to carry Sissy’s purple, floral backpack.
