This post by Antique Mommy left me wistful and teary-eyed.
And it reminded me that while these days we’re living in might be tinged with bittersweet, they are still very, very good.

Each day has it’s own mixture of bitter and sweet – the trick is to clutch one and release the other. Sweet post – loss is one of the ways we see what to hold closer.
I just gotta say that YOU are a must-read Ms. Boomama. You make me laugh every single time I visit. Thank you.
I read that post this morning and was teary-eyed the whole post. It is so hard to find balance in life sometimes. But story was absolutely sweet.
They are good, indeed, BooMama (especially when I can make a 9-letter word in Pathwords… but I digress). Thanks for pointing me in a direction in which I needed to go (THIS time, anyway!). And may you surpass your highest Pathword goals in 2009….
Thank you for directing me to that post. My family, too, had a Christmas that we never would have imagined. A Christmas that allowed us to witness, yet another, one of God’s miracles on Christmas morning.
God is good…ALL the time! Even on those bittersweet days. Amen? :)
