If I See ‘Em, Then They Are Already Dead

So first I watched Jim and Pam’s wedding from last week. Now I’m watching this week’s epsiode of “The Office.” I am on a roll. I think I may have just gotten my television groove back. It’s a fine feeling, my friends.

And while I think we may miss Jim and Pam this week, I have high hopes for some Dwight Schrute / Andrew Bernard shenanigans. Here’s to hoping.

– “The fundamentals of business. ‘Mental’ is a part of the word. I have underlined it. Because you’re ‘mental’ if you don’t have a good time. You have to enjoy it.”

– “What topics can you use for small talk?” // “Small things. Peas. Ball bearings. Dimes.”

– “The Fundamentals of Business by Michael Scott. Chapter 1. The businessman…”

– “Push free play to tomorrow morning.”

– “Not everything is a threat. // “MOBSTERS ARE!”

– “R is among the most menacing of sounds. That’s why they call it ‘murder’ and not ‘mukduk.'”

– “When somebody threatens you, you give in RIGHT AWAY.”

– “I think we should let the criminal use the card a little longer.”

– “I will have spaghetti with a side salad. If the salad is on top, I send it back.”

– “YOU WANNA DO THIS, JUNIOR? I didn’t think so. I’ve had a long day at the mechanics store.”

– “Are you suggesting that we surgically remove the fear center from Michael’s brain?”

– “If there’s one thing I hate more than the mafia, it’s a liar. I wish the mafia would kill all the liars.”

I got a kick out of the three stooges tonight – what did y’all think?

Up next: “30 Rock.”

Seriously. It’s an embarrassment of television riches.

  1. I am CRAZY for The Office! I’m not ashamed to admit I cried last week during the wedding (my husband was so horribly embarressed) – they are just too cute. So glad 30 Rock is back as well. Tina Fey is my girl!!

  2. I’m so glad the “old” Office is back. This has been a really good season. My other favorite is “The Big Bang Theory”. Watch it sometime. (Make that: DVR it and Watch it.)

  3. Wasn’t Kevin hilarious in Jim’s office? That guy cracks me up. He looks like a guy my hubby works with and I can’t seem to shake thinking it’s Todd! lol

  4. I was cracking up too!

  5. I will have the gabagool…

  6. You would LOVE jail.

How do you send back coffee?

They have no idea what happened.

    Love this show!

  7. I absolutely could NOT stop laughing when Andy was trying to “fix” that car.

“You need a new spark tube. Your car is totaled. You’ll want to get a refund.”

  8. This week’s episode was rather disappointing to me :( I’m still on a high from the wedding episode though.

I LOOOOOOVED the “you’d love jail” line and the “muck duck”. I laughed out loud at those two…lol

  9. Cracking up at the reason he was using Jim’s office!

    Eeewwww!

  10. Carrie in NYC says:

30 Rock: “You take a hot dog, stuff it with some jack cheese, wrap it with some pizza. You’ve got Cheesy Blasters.”

  11. I loved the ordering of the GAPAGOOL!

  12. One of my favorite episodes. Just hilarious… the whole thing!!! My favorite was “If the salad is on top, I send it back.”

  13. I know Kevin DIDN’T just cancel that card. Having a sister who had to alert her CC company before she traveled to England, I just knew how that call was going to end, and it kinda made me all squirmy inside.

And I have to admit, I’d probably have pegged that guy as Mafia too. I’m just sayin.

  14. My favorite line of the night was they “That’s why they call it murder and not mukduk…” I could not stop laughing.

Plus right at the end when he says “If it’s not a medium, I’m sending it back.”

  15. I enjoyed “The Office,” but “30 Rock” was kind of disappointing to me.

  16. How did you reach us we’re on a catamaran – then faking the phone breaking up while dispensing life saving advice.

30 Rock: Those glasses are for display only.

I agree, I didn’t laugh as hard at 30 Rock as usual but am excited at the possibly of tons of celebrities auditioning for the new cast member role.

Saw Tina Fey on Letterman, her daughter wants to be either a fairy princess or a bacon eating robot for Halloween, girl after your own heart.

  17. Over 1 billion sold.
    (More than the Bible).
    ((I’m not surprised)).

  18. I thought it was a great episode. The murder line was really funny. I also liked when Andy told the woman (after officially killing her battery!) “your spark tube is broken, it’s totaled, you will need to get a refund” and the fact that he called it a “mechanic store”. The man has issues!

  19. This was my favorite.
    – “R is among the most menacing of sounds. That’s why they call it ‘murder’ and not ‘mukduk.’”

  20. We finally watched this last night and thought it was HILARIOUS. My husband and I missed half the lines because we were laughing so hard!

  21. Elizabeth says:

I know I’m late but my favorite line from this episode was Oscar: “who else is here…the balance is off between sane people and..others” made me laugh out loud and reminded me of my other favorite show: Lost :)
