Linky Interwebby Awesomeness 03.11.10

– Listen. I’m a nerd. I really am. And maybe that’s part of the reason why I fell head over heels for this interactive vote-for-your-favorite-Oscar-dress thingy. Something about being able to drag and drop each dress into its appropriate place – well, it delighted me.

This post of Travis’ – well, just read it. That’s all I can say.

– My friend Shaun has a knack for expressing deep truths in ways that make me say, “YES. THAT.” His latest post is no exception.

– I’m still working on my springtime soundtrack, and Tuesday night I bought a CD that’s sure to have a firm place in this spring’s listening rotation: Hymns: Some Glad Morning by Cindy Morgan. It is an acoustic, folksy treasure. Absolutely beautiful.

– I loved Lindsey’s post about blogging the first time I read it. But what I didn’t anticipate is how I would continue to think about it. Great food for bloggy thought.

  1. The Oscar thingy was so fun! But it did not give me the opportunity to put Miley Cyrus at the very bottom and say to her “Stand up STRAIGHT!” I thought there were a lot of lovely dresses this year. We played Oscar Bingo, and that made the whole thing a hoot.

  2. Honestly, these linky, interwebby posts are some of my faves of yours because the links always rock my socks off.

  3. I did the oscar dress thing the other day and I agree with Sarah…Miley has awful posture.

I also have been awed by Shaun and all of the Kenya bloggers…my heart has had a hard time, though. Powerful stuff.

Off to ready Lindsey’s post….while watching the Idol results show…

  4. OK so this is the first time I have read one of these posts and let me just say…
