– According to at least one writer, American Idol is “all about Ryan now.” Verrrrrrry interesting.
– I related so much to Lindsay’s post about freedom in worship. Absolutely beautiful.
– This idea for a do-it-yourself ottoman is fab. I could not build said ottoman, mind you, but I bet my hubby could. (via Apartment Therapy)
– Shaun explains why, sometimes, we really need to pull the rope. And the comments are just as great as the post.
– A song by the always delightful Dave Barnes about how much a man loves his wife? Yes, please.
It’s dreamy, isn’t it?

Whenever you link to me, it makes my day. It is such an honor! :)
That music video seriously brought a tear to my eye! My husband and I did our first dance at our wedding reception to “Nothing Fancy,” so Mr. Barnes has a special place in my heart.
I have to share this in light of your first link. My son (8) came into the den where I was watching AI. He was confused when he saw a comedian and asked, “Where’s the Coral Reef Guy?”
I’m not paying the strictest attention, but I was sure he said something unusual. I asked him to repeat himself. “Where’s the Coral Reef Guy?”
I tell him I have no idea what he’s talking about. Then he explains. “You know, the usual guy.” And then it hits me. He’s talking about Ryan SEACREST! From now on in our house The Coral Reef Guy, he is.
That music video made me bawl, starting when the guy whipped out the ring to propose…my hubby proposed at the beach 6 years ago, so…good memories. Thanks for sharing.
Great song! Thanks for sharing it!!
