The other night I was on the Twitter, and Veronica mentioned that she was enjoying some music by Indelible Grace. The name rang a bell – I think a few of y’all have also recommended their CDs – so I made a beeline for the iTunes. I ended up buying their album called The Hymn Sing.
Well.
I’m sure the whole CD is excellent, but I really wouldn’t know yet because I cannot quit listening to the very first song.
As my friend Elise always says: If that don’t light your fire, your wood’s wet.
Amen.

I get so excited when someone I “know” discovers the richness in this music by Indelible Grace. It’s my favorite music by far and I have all the CDs. Have fun being reminded of the gospel through every song. It’s a blessing!
And check out noisetrade…if I’m not mistaken, the live hymn sing album is free.
Wow. Thank you for sharing that! I’ve never heard of them but this was the perfect week for me to hear that song.
It’s rainy here in New England today, but with that song running through my head, ain’t no way this wood’s gonna be wet! Thank you SO much for sharing this music with us!
It’s so, so good! I love Indelible Grace. Also, check out Home by Chuck Hooten. He’s one of the worship pastors at our church (Shades Mtn) and his new CD is fabulous!
I LOVE all of the Indelible Grace cd’s! The last song on the first Hymn sing cd is my favorite, “Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken.” Absolutely incredible! All of the IG cd’s are great, but you should also check out Red Mountain Church’s “Gadsby Project” cd.
Thanks, BooMama. What a great CD! Just purchased it.
I was at this Hymn Sing in Nashville a couple of years ago. A group of us from my church went. You have to get past the first song. It only gets better from there. “Jesus, I Come” … “Arise My Soul Arise” … “O Love That Will Not Let Me Go” … you must keep listening. They are all so rich!
I am going to visit iTunes right now. Thanks for sharing this. I MUST remember your colloquialisms– “your wood must be wet”” cracked me up!!
ummm…WOW.
Very timely for this heart o’mine.
As always, thank you for sharing JUST the right encouragement.
What a wonderful song! Thanks for sharing it with us. :)
Hey!! We invited Matthew Smith & Indelible Grace to perform at our church this spring. They were absolutely amazing. Our church still sings some older hymns & it was so fun & uplifting to hear those familiar hymns with new music. Our minister contacted them through their website. If you think your church family might be even a little interested, DO IT! They put on such a great concert – can’t speak highly enough of them.
