The Big Boo Cast, Episode 36

Well, the big news in this particular podcast is that Melanie thinks our dogs could possibly be related. It’s a long shot – but it’s a shot. We actually spend way too much time talking about our beloved little pups, and Hazel barks at random intervals to make her presence known.

Other than that, there’s nothing new under the sun, really. We talk about TV and books and sunscreen and our hair. We also share our feelings about sunglasses and marvel about the fact that we’ve been recording podcasts for SEVEN YEARS.

I’ll tell you what: seven years is a long time to talk about nothing.

And in the interest of clarity:

– The answer to Caroline’s question about British and American accents: Mental Floss article

– The underye brightener I want to try: Mally Perfect Prep Undereye Brightener

– The sunscreen for faces: Coppertone Oil Free Sunscreen for Faces (this one doesn’t have zinc)

– The summer skirt Melanie mentions: Gap stripe foldover skirt

  1. I am always so excited when I see y’all have a new podcast up and I appreciate the frequency they have been occurring lately. Thanks for indulging me. ;)

  2. I’m proud to say I’ve listened to each of your podcasts several times. They always make me smile!

  3. Good summer reads: anything by Sophie Kinsella(Shopaholic series, and lots of other funny English perky books—the audio books are really fun. I’m just finishing “Can You Keep a Secret”)
Where’d You Go Bernadette. Set in Seattle. Our bookclub read this and it was really fun and quirky and not old.

    • and do you use your library for borrowing ebooks and audio books? goes right to your phone or ipod/ipad/kindle and no $$$. I listen to books on my way to work and out gardening etc etc.

  4. Love your podcasts! One thing that my Nanny taught me was to say “off off” when turning off the stove or iron etc. so you can remember doing it and it TOTALLY works!

  5. Love your podcasts! I also went back and listened to some of the throwbocks a while ago (y’all make a great soundtrack for cleaning house). In one I specifically remember both of you talking about how you would NEVER write a book EVER! Haha I guess the Lord had other plans!

  6. You both MUST watch The Goodwife. You both would love it!

  7. Thank you, I have recently been searching for information approximately this
subject for a long time and yours is the best I’ve discovered till now.
However, what about the conclusion? Are you positive in regards to the source?
