The Big Boo Cast, Episode 40

I will warn you that we talk about our dogs a whole lot on this one.

We also talk about Melanie‘s far-reaching knowledge about back pain, Christy Nockels’ upcoming worship concert, our nostalgia for the 70s, decorating for Christmas, college football, coaching searches, TV, and who knows what else.

Let me put it this way: when I texted Mel to tell her that the podcast ended up being over 50 minutes, she said, “That’s a whole lot of nothing.”

And to that I say “amen.”

You can click here to listen. Or here. You can even listen right here.

Or, as always, you can subscribe on iTunes if you’re feeling particularly fancy.

Enjoy, y’all!

So is decorating your mailbox for Christmas a Southern thing or a Sophie thing? I have never heard of such a thing.

  2. What a treat this morning to listen to you two while feeding my little guy breakfast. I have to say, it tickled me pink to hear the Neil Diamond clip at the end. I, too, am a big fan! I’m a little younger than you two but I love me some Neil. Especially Cracklin’ Rosie… Forever in Blue Jeans… Holly Holy…. oh, I could go on. Love.

  3. thank you for this. I have been sick 11 days in a row. like so sick I should not be at work but I am anyway. this podcast made my day. thanks ladies!

  4. Ann in Maryland says:

The fact that Hazel loves her family so much says a lot about her family. She’s a lucky little girl!

    Thanks for another great boocast.

  5. Sherri Len says:

Sophie, you are so hilarious, playing Neil Diamond’s Coming to America at the end of the podcast! I wonder how many people missed it because they turned it off too soon?! :) My high school vocal music teacher, Mr. Ross Hearn, always sang his praises (no pun intended, but good, yes?), asking us, “What is the difference between his music and all others’?” The answer: he uses a full orchestra to back him up! So, now, I’m listenting/watching him in a blue sparkly shirt on youTube!

  6. Lisa Bingham says:

I LOVE your podcasts so much!! Thank you for the early Christmas gift! My kiddos joke that I am listening to my “internet” friends. :0)
