The Big Boo Cast, Episode 136

On this episode we rehash the Hudson family Spring Break shenanigans, we celebrate the fact that Melanie has finished writing her latest book, and we talk about (another!) new TV show that Melanie and Perry are watching.

We also discuss some very exciting news regarding our dear friend* John Mayer.

*To be clear, John Mayer doesn’t know us from Adam’s house cat.

*The fact that he doesn’t know us is in no way a hindrance to our friendship.

Please do enjoy.

  1. Add this to the list of super soft pajama pants/joggers… the “stars above” line at Target! I actually discovered the line yesterday while I was walking around Target listening to the podcast. :) I think the pajamas are right up there with the GAP ones y’all have mentioned.

  2. Rebecca says:

    Dear Sophie,

This is my first-ever blog comment! I just wanted to thank you for touching my heart and lifting my spirits with your uplifting words and your ebullience that I hear daily on the Big Boo Cast.

My dearest friend, a Mississippi gal, suggested that I listen to your podcast about two years ago and I was instantly hooked. You and Melanie talk about binge-watching Netflix, but I binge-listen to y’all while undergoing extensive dental procedures, cross country flights and I confess, fall asleep most nights with an episode playing through my pillow speaker plugged into my iPad.

Thank you, Sophie for being the sweet-voiced, hilarious and glorifying sister in Christ who is so inspirational. To God be the glory!

Feeling embarrassed now that I’ve written you essentially a fan letter! Please know that you are in good company; I did profess my kindergarten love for Mr. Rogers via a postcard. His personalized letter in response remains one of my greatest treasures.
