The Big Boo Cast, Episode 170

Well, both of us recently watched “Miss Americana” – the Taylor Swift documentary on Netflix – and man-oh-man did we ever have some thoughts about it. We share about 278 of those thoughts in this episode. We also discuss some upcoming pop culture events we’re excited about (to be clear, I didn’t realize when we recorded that the Hamilton movie doesn’t come out until 2021, so please know the realization that I have to wait OVER A YEAR has been borderline heartbreaking).

There are some beauty product developments as well – and news about what may well be the finest mascara we have ever tried. Yes. You read that correctly. THE BEST MASCARA WE HAVE EVER TRIED. Eyelash dreams do come true, everyone.

Enjoy, y’all.

  1. I think the first two links take you to podcast 169.

  2. Sophie – On a recent podcast (I don’t think it’s this one), you were taking about fake Southern accents. What about Daniel Craig’s in Knives Out!?! He did a pretty good job for a Brit, but I still thought it was terrible. It was actually funny – his “Big Daddy” effort. It was probably an intentional part of the movie’s humor.

  3. One more thing… I listen to your podcast while driving and often wish I could participate in the conversation in the moment! Actually, I do!!!

  4. Melissa Toms says:

Can’t get the Thrive Causemetics coupon code to work. Any suggestions?
