After spending the last two weeks with delightful, wise, funny guests (thanks, Mike Leach and Phil Rosenthal), we’re back to our usual shenanigans on this episode. It’s just Melanie and me, and we talk about the comfort of a good caftan, the practical side of going back to work (for example, I can no longer spend my days in walking tights and t-shirts), and the joy of finally finding a dry shampoo that exceeds expectations.
We also discuss how I really showed my Enneagram 9-ness in terms of anticipating the transition back to work, and Melanie gives an update on the antelope that used to live in her living room.
If that weren’t enough (is it, though?), we talk about make-up and TV.
Enjoy, y’all!

Started Yellowstone this past week. In two nights, I finished season 1. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. Rip. Kayce. John. Yes please!
Where is the Christmas caftan you mentioned?
Hey, I wonder if you can start including a handy link to your Amazon store. I have looked for it a few times and it eludes me. Thanks!
Yes, please! Not sure how to find it from the Amazon site.
Have you watched the mini-series Wolf Hall? I just read the book – almost 600 pages! – and now want to watch the series. It is about Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII and all the political machinations they did to let him leave his first wife for Anne Boleyn. It was fascinating!! Now I am reading the 2nd book of the series.
You can certainly see your enthusiasm within the article you write.
