Since our last episode Melanie and Perry have moved Caroline into her new place in College Station, and I have been all manner of productive rounding up things for Alex’s dorm room. Apparently both of us have been feeling our feelings about this particular transition, so we dig into that a little bit.
We also talk about Bama Rush Tok (will it be a thing this year? WE HOPE SO), what we’re watching, and a book I’ve been loving. Plus, it’s Melanie’s turn for Five Favorites.
Enjoy, y’all!

I love, loved Lessons in Chemistry! I don’t know what it’s like to read the book because I listened to the audio version and it was excellent. It was very quirky, very different, and made me thankful to be a female in this generation instead of that one. I like the Alton Brown take on the chemistry behind food too :)
As I was listening (a week late – back-to-school here too!) I was painting my nails and I’m very interested in looking into Melanie‘s OPI quick drying drops. I love that you do five favorites at the end of every show every week… I enjoy your banter in the background but by the time you get to that segment I’ve sat down with my computer or iPad to click through your links :) Here is an item for you to check out that might be helpful to your listeners. The name brand is Aieve and it is called a Cord Organizer. I think I saw an ad on Instagram – it is something that you stick to the back of your kitchen appliances to wind up your cords. It is brilliant… I got mine yesterday and I immediately felt a sense of accomplishment getting so many cords out-of-the-way in my kitchen and pantry.
