This week Melanie shares a history lesson about Cinco de Mayo that I’m embarrassed I didn’t know, I talk about a book that I absolutely loved, and Melanie recaps her weekend in – get ready for it – College Station. Also, I cooked an actual meal for my family, so you’ll hear about that too.
If all that weren’t enough (and it might not be enough, but please don’t feel like you need to tell us if that’s the case), we break down some viewing / reading goals for the immediate future, and it’s Melanie’s turn for Five Favorites.
Hope you enjoy!

The linen shorts and top are so cute, but I have bought a very similar set from Shein that the shorts and shirt together are $18 (I think). They are so cute and comfy and more affordable if you want multiple colors! I originally bought a royal blue and have ordered a second set in blue.
