The Big Boo Cast, Episode 398

Melanie and I were due for a catch-up when we recorded this week’s episode, so we talk about what we did on the 4th of July, my latest Pilates adventures, and Melanie’s commitment to watching The Chosen. I also share a run-down of the last few books I’ve read – because apparently reading is my job now.

In addition to all that, we share some of our thoughts about the most recent developments with Taylor and Travis, and it’s my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, y’all!

  1. Sophie- You and I are on a VERY similar reading path this summer. I just finished The Rom-commers…loved. I am halfway through Sandwich and LOVE IT. I am also DELIGHTED by the dialogue and internal thoughts surrounding Rocky’s relationship with her adult children. I am not quite there yet (mine are 17,15, and 11) but dare I say it gives me hope during a time that I am nostalgic for times past? Next up on my Kindle is Same As It Ever Was. I loved her first book and cannot wait to dive in. Laundry? Nope. Cooking? Definitely not. You’ll find me over here with a glass of tea and a book. Everything else can wait:)
