All righty – I have a veritable stockpile-o-links today because I haven’t posted any all week.

I do hope you enjoy them.

– I have been very vocal about my love for The Gabe Dixon Band. Well, they released a new EP this past Tuesday, and you can buy it for $2.99 on iTunes. TWO DOLLARS AND NINETY NINE CENTS. I’m telling you: it will become your soundtrack for spring. And I’m a big believer in the seasonal soundtrack.

– I enjoyed this post of Lora Lynn’s so much that I saved it in my feedreader for about three days so I could read it over and over again. HEART. WARMING.

Compassion is heading to India with a group of bloggers in a couple of weeks, and you can help spread the word by grabbing a widget or a banner for your blog.

– I’m pretty sure that you could clog an artery just from reading this recipe (thanks for the link, M!).

– Several of y’all have emailed me the link to Jim Gaffigan’s take on bacon. And it’s HILARIOUS. Because it’s TRUE.

– Melanie and I have started to recap what we learned at Living Proof Live this past weekend; you can find those posts over at AllAccess. My post definitely doesn’t fall under the category of “awesomeness,” by the way – I’m just trying to do a better job of linking to the stuff we post over there.

– “Top Chef Masters,” you say? I’m all over it. (via Throwing Things)

– Finally, here’s some news that might make you smile: “Tween style takes a modest turn.” (via Melanie)

This post of Angie’s? Gorgeous.

– Whether she’s writing about homeschooling or twittering about American Idol, Stretch Mark Mama makes me laugh.

– Finally, yesterday morning I saw Pioneer Woman’s recipe for chicken scallopine. It made my mouth water. It also made me go straight to the grocery store. And then it made me buy all the ingredients. And when I made it for supper last night, it was so good that it almost made me weep.

I’m telling you: that recipe is all kinds of powerful.

One of my favorite things in life is to laugh until I hurt. I’m talking about laughing so hard that you feel flat exhausted afterwards, almost like you’ve been running for a really long time except that you haven’t been running because why would you bother with running if you could sit around and laugh really hard instead?

Clearly this sort of logic is the very thing that stands in between me and my fitness goals.

Anyway, today I thought I’d link to some stuff that makes me laugh out loud. Because every once in awhile Mondays just need to be laughy.

At least that is my philosophy.

So, a few of my favorite “Saturday Night Live” moments of all time ever:

This Lawrence Welk sketch makes me howl. I posted it once before when my links were on a separate page, but it’s so hilarious that it’s worth re-posting.

– Three words: Mary Katherine Gallagher. Still funny after all these years.

– Maybe it’s because I relate so well to The Awkward, but I love me some Judy Grimes.

– I don’t know what it is about Amy Poehler in this funky New York style skit, but she CRACKS ME UP. YESSSSSSSSSSS. NOOOOOOOOOOO. There’s some (mild) not-so-family-friendly language in this one, so MIND THE LITTLE EARS.

Now y’all know that when I get certain musical somethings on the brain I will share said somethings incessantly until I’ve invited as many people as possible to join me on my musical joyride.

And that is why I’m sharing three music-related links tonight.

– Earlier today Mary left a comment saying that she’d clicked over to Pandora and discovered that The Gabe Dixon Band is their featured artist of the day. I couldn’t wait to check out the link, and sure enough, there are some really great videos of TGDB performing live. Such a treat.

– I haven’t said too much about this because if I start talking about it I probably won’t stop talking about it for the next two months, but I can tell you without hesitation that Travis Cottrell’s live worship CD is going to be incredible, oh yes it is. And do you know what? You can preorder a copy right now. I know lots of y’all were in Woodstock, Georgia when the CD was recorded, so you can testify to the awesomeness. Amen.

– Did you know that you can download Christy Nockels’ (I MAY HAVE MENTIONED BEFORE THAT I LOVE HER) new single for free? Well, you totally can.

This post by Amanda is the best thing I’ve read in a long, long time. And it’s also a topic that has come up in about four different conversations I’ve had this past week. Such a reminder of the importance of extending grace to each other. ALWAYS.

– I cannot, cannot, CANNOT wait to read this book.

– Finally, while it certainly isn’t “awesomeness,” last week I wrote a post over at AllAccess that essentially asks one question: are we more connected than we need to be?
