Our Sweet Little Miss Kapur

All righty – feel free to chime in with your favorite moments from tonight’s episode of The Office.

My top 5:

1. Stanley getting his groove on to the website music
2. Andy and the bear horn, especially when sounding the bear horn was accompanied by Andy’s version of The Running Man
3. “Take A Chance On Me”
4. Michael’s tight purple shirt
5. Jim signing Meredith’s cast

And Dwight vs. The Computer?

Gold.

  1. my fave was the opening scene with the dvd player screen saver. :)

  2. OH!! Don’t ruin it for me! I have yet to watch it on my computer, as I am a diehard GA fan and they both come on at the SAME TIME!!!

A lady has to have STANDARDS, you know…

  3. Andy singing was priceless, Michael calling Angela “booster seat” and other roller coaster references, the IM’s with Dwight…

ok, well, I guess that sums up the whole episode; so much for my insight….

But my favorite quote from Michael:
“I’m not going to cry about it…I did that in the car on the way home.”

  4. Stanley dancing takes the cake. Although the block game was a riot as well… I LOVE it!

  5. Definitely the very beginning where they are all waiting for the logo to go directly into the corner…and as soon as it does, they all get up and leave!:) Loved it:)

  6. EVERYTHING Angela!

    “pipsqueek”
    “booster seat”
    her rants about the party
    her attitude towards Dwight
    her attitude towards Phyllis
    explaing cutlery
    “Take A Chance On Me”

She was on tonight! I loved it!

  7. I’m in the same boat as His Singer, but your preview made me so excited to watch it!

  8. Michael thinking the invite was for a real party at a place called “Chatroom”

Michael putting the pizza guy in timeout.

    Take a Chance on Me

    The computer talking to Dwight.

Phyllis wadding up to do list and throwing it in Angela’s face.
I could go on and on… Hilarious!!

  9. Meredith’s cast caught me off guard and made me burst out, literally, laughing.

  10. ~~Mrs. J.~~ says:

The cutlery explination had me rollin’!!!

Oh and the whole Dwight vs. the computer was priceless!!!

    Mrs. J~

  11. I laughed through the whole thing. The cast, the bouncing cube, the computer, hee-ster-i-cal.

  12. Take A Chance on Me was priceless! I told hubby I would have gone out(at least once) with someone who did that just because they did!
The Office is my favorite show right now!

  13. 1.the beginning with the bouncing cube
    2.Stanley dancing
    3. Take a chance on me
4.Dwight vs. the computer(then the computer telling Dwight that he was the superior being)
5.Michael quote about not going to cry because he already did that in the car
6.Jim and Pam on the roof talking about when they new they liked each other

  14. I laughed so hard at the DVD screen saver scene. I remember doing things like that in long, boring meetings ;-)

  15. Oh I can’t wait to watch it. I feel so left out… sigh.

  16. Mary Kat's Mom says:

I couldn’t stop laughing when Michael and Dwight were sitting outside the party on the car eating the leftover sushi and mocking Ryan! Oh, and Kelly slamming the piece of pizza on Ryan’s face on the screen!

  17. I loved it when Michael called the new website his “brain grandchild” since it (the website) was the brainchild of Ryan, who was “his” brainchild… thus, the brain grandchild.

I thought this was the best episode this season so far!

  18. Angela owned that episode! She was the perfect mixture of judgemental & vindictive. And her cat’s still dead.

The “hot circle of garbage” line is one I will file away for future use.

Jim & Pam on the roof was adorable and Andy singing ABBA was almost more than my heart could take.

By the way, if you’re not watching the deleted scenes from each episode on NBC.com you are missing a whole nother world of funny.

  19. Take a Chance on Me.

I was singing right along, too!

  20. That show is THE BEST!

I liked the opening bit the best, too :)

  21. I don’t watch that show, but if it’s Abba’s Take a Chance on Me that is too funny. I saw Mamma Mia over the summer, and the use of that song was one of the funniest parts for me.

  22. It was Jim signing Meredith’s cast. OMG, I thought I’d die laughing. If this show gets any funnier I’m going to have to start wearing Depends…

  23. You all have to go and read the “Savage Chicken” cartoon this morning:

    http://www.savagechickens.com/blog/2007/10/office.html

  24. Only caught the last 25 minutes and still found it hysterical.

    Love this show!

  25. The ENTIRE episode, but primarily Angela. I loved the cutlery part :) Oh, and the part at the end where Dwight and Michael are ranting about Ryan! Have to say though, I’m feeling sorrier and sorrier for Michael this season!

  26. DisneyMomTwins says:

I loved all the ones y’all have mentioned so far…..but what about Michael reading the memo from Ryan and Kelly asking whether or not the memo said if Ryan was seeing anybody! So Funny!!! I spend my whole day looking forward to watching this show!

  27. Well, I don’t watch The Office so I can’t say anything about that. However those shoes are cool .. geesh I don’t come by for only TWO days and I miss so much…LOL…

Guess what?! We are singing Hallelujah Jesus Sunday in church and the youth are learning Beautiful You! See how far your promoting reaches :-) You’re the next Oprah. Believe it!

I’m having a giveaway on my blog today through Monday at midnight.. Hope ya stop by!

    God bless,

  28. Last night was my first time. HILARIOUS! Where have I been?

But I have a burning question…what is Meredith’s cast for?

One of my fave parts was the kidnapping.

    Then,

    “I kidnapped a kid.”
“You had to, what other choice did you have?”
“I could have paid for the pizza.”
    “Well, yeah.”

  29. Definitely the computer talking to Dwight. Especially when he said “How do I know this isn’t Jim?” and the computer said (as Jim walks away) “What is a Jim?” The look on his face was priceless! Although, he should shave.

You can get random office quotes on facebook, or go to http://www.theofficequotes.com for quotes from every episode.

  30. I loved everything Angela! Everything else was good too.

  31. It’s a tie between the running man/bull horn moment and Take a Chance on Me. But I also liked when he read the memo from Ryan, and Kelly asked, “Does it say if he’s in a relationship or not?” She cracks me up. Also, we liked Michael’s replacement for “Oh the Places You’ll Go”.. you know, it’s the same stuff in there right?

  32. Dwight as salesman of the month 13 out of the last 12 months…
I love that Dwight is proud of the fact that in lieu of a pay raise, corporate gave him TWO plaques in February!

  33. nice to know that I’m not the only OFFICE fanatic. DH and I almost consider it date night to get to sit and watch it together on Thursday nights because we laugh so hard and have such a great time together. It’s the funniest show on TV IMO.

  34. Oh yea, and what about the DVD screen saver on the TV screen during the “meeting”. Priceless.

  35. Yes, the “Take a chance on me” was hilarious! I actually choked on my beer at that moment.

  36. Kelly online shopping spree and Darryl’s reaction to her being single tickled me. Thank goodness for tivo and the instant replay button.

  37. Well, “LUNCH PARTY” cracked me up. As did the part about dealing with difficult people. I thought Angela would explode from all the psycho-babble. Michael needing “New York style” sushi was also funny, especially since they ate leftovers.

  38. 1. Kelly asking if the memo said anything about Ryan dating someone.
    2. Michael’s request for the party…and Andy stealing the ice sculpture.

Boomama, did you happen to check out TLC last Saturday? There is a decorating show that fixed up Angela’s house and some of the Office cast stopped by. It was like a dream decorating and the office all in one show!

  39. I can’t remember the quote exactly now (even though i said it like fifty times to myself) but it was Michael yelling at the pizza guy that he was going to “crank the stupid up.”

Or something like that. I hate that I can’t remember stuff like that. But it was a great line. I’ll watch it again and write it down. That’s what having kids does to my brain.

  40. Definitely the Take a Chance on Me concert… For the first time ever, I actually like that guy! He just needs a woman to fix him up and get him into line. And help him with his nipple chaffing issue.

Angela is my fave and I loved the little half smile/smirk as she walked away.

Oh, but the Dwight computer part was hilarious and especially the end when Pam feels sorry for him and has the computer lose gracefully.

  41. Oh! I’m so excited! You’re posting about a TV show I actually have seen. :-) Hehe

My favorite was Kelly getting all excited about ordering the paper from the website. I think the computer should have won. :-)

  42. Andy: They say you should never mix business with pleasure. Really. Then explain to me how a put-put golf company operates.

    I heart The Office.

  43. I intend to rewatch and learn all of Phyllis’s googled lines for dealing with difficult Angela. Why SHOULDN’T I enjoy tv AND learn coping mechanisms at the same time?

  44. Did you know that you can watch the entire episode at http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/episodes.shtml?? Which is great if your child happens to be up & down during bedtime and you miss something!! Enjoy

  45. For me it was the whole invitation to the web party scene in Jim’s car.

“We’re going to a club called ‘Chat Room'”

“Uh, does it start with ‘www’? Yeah . . .”

I almost wet my pants — and since I’m pregnant, it was near miss!

  46. I think I peed a little on the Dwight vs the computer – laughed my tail off. His face each time a new IM came through, esp. the one about “While you were typing that out I searched my database and learned everything about everthing, mastered the violin…and sold more paper” – ohmygosh hilarious.

    (found you through bee)

  47. I used to work in that office. LOL!

The DVD hitting the corner of the screen and everyone leaving the meeting.

    The computer “talking” to Dwight.

    Kidnapping the pizza guy.

The entire episode was LOL funny. That’s why I have started turning off both cell phones and taking the landline phone off the hook. I had a voice mail from a friend that tried to call me during the program and was wondering why my phone was busy for such a long time. That’s why!

  48. I think you’re underthinking it.
