Now I know – I KNOW – that lately there have been more giveaways than usual around these bloggy parts. But since it’s Christmas, and since the economy has, um, taken a bit of a hit this year, I’ve been a little more giveaway-ish than I normally am. Because I figure that every little bit helps, you know?
So when the people from Kohl’s asked if I might like to give away a gift card, I was all, “OKAY!” I know lots of y’all are dedicated Kohl’s shoppers and can work a Kohl’s coupon like nobody’s sweet business, so I thought a little Kohl’s cheer was definitely in order.
The Kohl’s people also told me that they have a handy little widget you can download straight to your desktop so that you get up-to-the-minute information on all the latest deals. If you’re interested in the widget, you can download it right here; it’ll look just like this on your computer:

I would buy sweaters! My sweater wardrobe consists of sweaters bought in 2001 and prior. And I’ve had two little ones since then and I’m not exercising as often as I should … I’d update those sweaters.
I would love to get a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I have been wanting one FOREVER!!
I would buy clothes, or maybe a kitchen gadget. Or maybe something decorative for the house. Or maybe I would save it and get some really sweet Christmas stuff at the after Christmas sales. Oh, the possibilities!!!

I would buy a Cuisinart Mini-prep Food Processor. I always want one and never want to spend the money on myself.
I’d be a bit selfish and get myself Chaps plaid flannel pajamas. Then I would come to my senses and get my daughter a pair of boots.
Definitely easy, so thanks for that! What WOULDN’T I buy with $50? It will be hard to narrow it down. Probably with three girls, something for them. But if I was really to get selfish, I’d probably head for the kitchen department and get some gadget that would be fun. And if I were to really get practical I’d head to the vacuum section and put the gift card toward a new vacuum that I desperately need.

Hubby needs some new gloves, so I’d definitely get him the tek gear snowboard gloves and I love that SONOMA life + style cable knit cardigan for me. Too cute! Then would get my kiddos some new slippers to keep their feet toasty warm on these cold nights!
I have my eye on a 6qt Rival slow cooker for my parents. We have lots of huge family dinners and we always need a big crock pot to make the roasts in! Their current one is in SAD shape…it’s missing a handle on one side and the crock is starting to craze so it needs to GO TO THE DUMP!!!

Well, I’m finally ready after spending four years buying things for other people and ignoring myself, to buy something for ME. Something unconventional, that will make me happy. If I get the gift card, by golly, I’m putting it towards a pair of binoculars. And then going to town on the neighbors.

It’s more than $50 but I would get my husband the Washington Redskins Tailgating Beanbag game – I can see him playing it with the boys – FUN!
I buy some fabulous new clothes from the Vera Wang line, now being carried at Kohl’s. I got some of her pajamas for mother’s day and I heart them!
To get started I would get my daughter a pair of Dora pajamas that she would love. Then I’d get myself some new shirts- I really, really need some new shirts!

Ugh!that would be one of the hardest decisions. I love Kohl’s but cant always afford their stuff unless it is on sale.

Lovely giveaway! I would probably choose the Pulsar Gold Expansion watch. It is not always easy to find expansion band watches these days and it is so convenient to just slip them on your wrist while you are walking out the door.
