Now I know – I KNOW – that lately there have been more giveaways than usual around these bloggy parts. But since it’s Christmas, and since the economy has, um, taken a bit of a hit this year, I’ve been a little more giveaway-ish than I normally am. She is always doing things for other people. Lately, I have been one of those other people she has given up so much for. I was in a car wreck in Feb. ’06 & have had 8 surgeries so far w/ more to come. 12-08 I got the referral to go to the neuro surgeon to get the ball rolling for another back surgery & then another neck surgery. Amongst all of this I have been diagnosed w/ melanoma. They took one out of the left side of my face yesterday. Mom (& Dad) have been there every step of the way – at 82 yrs young. I would add another $50 so my Dad could get something just for him. The rule would be to spoil THEMSELVES for once. I love them so very much & am so thankful God made the three of us a family!!!!
I would get: warm jammies for my daughter and niece to wear on Christmas morning!! I love carter’s pajamas for little ones!

I volunteer at a “before school program” at an elementary school where I read & play games with kids. I’d love to get them some new games. And the cardboard game boxes don’t really hold up very well, so the tins would be awesome!

Well since today is my birthday, I would spend the whole thing on me, me and me. In that order. I would likely buy a new pair of shoes because nothing says Happy Birthday like a new pair of boots. =)
