This post made me laugh out loud (and then cry a little. . .I mean let’s be honest here!!) because where I am we’ve broken our record for days of 100+ degree weather. I think we’re on like day 67! I’m moving to where you are!! ; )
Glad your August has been shout out worthy – the weather here in Texas has been – variable in the extremes but month ending fabulously! Our household – having a very rough time this summer – major health issahs and slow down in economy has given us a new appreciation for the simple things – and tender feelings toward a month or a day can always reflect the glory of the One who created said months and days!

I woke up to the first day of school on Monday, August 24 to a temperature of 65 degrees. SIXTY FIVE!! In FLORIDA!!! In AUGUST! What is happening here, people???? We are seriously confused around here… ;)
