A Fool With A Fancy Guitar

Every once in awhile a song gets all up in my business.

Today it’s been this song. Which is why I’ve played it about six times in a row on my iTunes.

That’s a good word, isn’t it? Just thought I’d share.

Happy Sunday, y’all.

  1. I love it! I always like when you share a music favorite. I had never heard of Dave Barnes until you mentioned his Christmas album. I went to itunes, listened and then purchased that Christmas CD. I LOVED IT!! I listened to it all the time. Danced with my baby to some of the songs. . . had my whole family listening and even posted about how much I liked it on FB. Turns out I had some friends who had never heard of him either and are now Dave Barnes fans!! Thanks for sharing ALL of your musical favs.

  2. I love Andrew Peterson (thanks for introducing him to me). He is such a great song writer. He should really get more air time on the radio. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I love that. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Love it. I shared with Jonathan- he really, really! needed to hear this today. It said everything I could not say for his heart last night.

    Thanks again, sweet, sweet friend.

  5. Really, really good. You are so kind to share.

  6. Love AP! I have been a follower of his since his very first album came out. I am so glad he is starting to get recognition-he so deserves it!

  7. I usually keep the sound turned down on my computer, because I read better in silence. Something (Someone) told me to listen to this song and I was touched to tears. I have posted it on Facebook; someone out there may need to hear it (besides me, and I really needed to hear it!). Thank you, dear friend. Annie

  8. I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to Andrew Peterson. I just love Dancing in the Mindfields and this one is another favorite. To think I wouldn’t know about it if you hadn’t posted the first video a few months ago. My 8 1/2 year old is a big fan also!
