  1. I remember this so well. A couple we knew, my high school geometry teacher in fact, had a son who was deaf. Their family was watching the pageant, and after this remarkable girl won, Drew, who was about five or six, burst into tears. His parents finally got him calmed down and asked what was wrong. He said, “Look what she did. She’s deaf like me. I can do big things, too.” And he has.

  2. Goosebumps and tears! Not only is her dancing absolutely beautiful, you can feel it coming from heart. She is definitely worshiping her Savior! I am so glad this is the moment you choose for #1. It’s the perfect choice!

  3. I knew it! I was going to be so disappointed if it wasn’t this performance. I’ll never forget watching that. My daughter went on to perform liturgical dance on pointe years later. It is such an amazing way to lead in worship of the Lord.
