The Big Boo Cast, Episode 47

Y’all were kind enough to submit a bunch of questions for this podcast, and we managed to answer about eight of them over the course of 50-ish minutes. We’re gonna do our best to re-visit the list-o-questions next week; maybe the question answering will become a summertime tradition for us.

Honestly, that possibility sounds close enough to an actual plan that it makes me a little bit nervous. We do like to fly by the seat of our podcast pants, you know.

Anyway, we talk about Melanie’s washing machine, the Sheerlume, how we (try) to balance the things that we do, what we’re (maybe) writing next, what we’re (probably) talking about at dotMOM, our favorite Starbucks drinks, and a whole host of other stuff.

You can click here to listen. Or here. You can even listen right here on the blog.

Or, as always, you can subscribe on iTunes if you’re feeling particularly fancy.

Please do enjoy.

Really enjoyed listening to this before I got ready for work. It was a really positive way to start my day. It was a fun way to start my day. Thank you for taking the time to entertain.

  2. I was so happy to have this to listen to on my long commute this morning!

  3. Just discovered your podcast earlier this week and can NOT get enough! I started listening to podcasts a few weeks ago, but only on my way to and from work (it’s a 30-45 minute commute each way). For one, it’s how I get myself to look forward to driving that commute, and two, with my ADHD its about the only place I can listen to something like that and give it my undivided attention. Can I just say, you guys have me laughing out loud, nodding my head in agreement, taking mental notes and wanting to talk all day in a southern accent. But I don’t, because that might be kind of weird, plus my husband says I do terrible accents. Whatever. And I know you hear it over and over, but I truly just want to be yours and Melanie’s best friend! I am SO looking forward to listening to everything I’ve missed, while I eagerly await the next podcast!! I also look forward to eventually purchasing and reading all of yours and Melanie’s books. Thank you for doing such a great job on the podcast, having fun, being you, and letting us all be a part of your fun! God Bless!

I love the podcasts. I do feel like I am listening in on your phone conversations though. I about died at work when Melanie was going on about the Pamplemousse sparkling water. I could not hold back the laughter. My co-workers probably thought I ws having a seizure. I had to shut you two off, and listen later when I was alone. I would have sworn Melanie was making it up, but, i used the google, and pamplemousse is a real thing. So educational.

A question for the next one: which self tanner do you recommend? I love your podcasts so much! I downloaded a bunch of very old ones and listened to them on the beach last week! Such fun!
