We recorded this episode waaaaaaay later than normal – like just a few hours ago – so I’m a little pressed for time in terms of an engaging description. :-) Let’s just go with this: skincare procedure thoughts, my 8-wing is fully engaged in a situation at our school, and Melanie has watched some television.
Please do enjoy.

Having experienced a very similar situation; surprise non renewal of a dear and beloved principal’s contract without input from students, faculty, staff or parents; I feel your anger, disbelief and sadness. I am praying for the entire community and especially the students as they are faced with learning some tough life lessons. May you all lead them well, graciously with justice, through this hurtful time. It happened here almost 2 years ago and it is still strongly felt and still impacting the school and the people involved. It is better, but not good or the same. My son was graduated in May 2020 amid the beginnings of Covid, an already confusing time, and the principal was “let go” the next day. She was phenomenal and had done such wonderful things by empowering the adults and students to recognize their strengths and lead. It sounds as if your Dr. Bower was equally as inspiring. It so so difficult to navigate this type of situation. Prayers for wisdom, patience and peace.
Sorry, he graduated, not just graduated and Dr. Brower, not Bower…????
I just saw a piece on GMA for hair remedies and the first one was an egg mask! Literally, you crack an egg and put the egg all over your hair! What!?! Melanie, please tell me you haven’t gone this far! Or that you’ll try it for us! Ha! The only thing that would’ve made it better was if it was chicken ????
