Thursday At Noon Central Time…

…I’m going to post a link that will take you to the Monk & Neagle CD Giveaway Extravaganza Gala Spectacular.

(Was that excessive enough? I do hope so.)

M&N’s record label has actually set up a special webpage for this giveaway, so it’s going to work a little differently than the other CD giveaways I’ve done. This time you’re going to have to click on a link if you want a free copy – at which point you’ll be able to register.

There are 100 (ONE HUNDRED!) free (FREE!) Monk & Neagle full-length CDs available, and as long as you have a blog with 50 unique visitors every month, you’re eligible to receive one – provided that you enter your info before all the copies have been claimed.

When you register, you’ll also have the opportunity to indicate if you’re interested in receiving free copies of other Christian artists’ new CDs.

(Why, you ask? Because Christian record labels are starting to take notice of this little community we have here on the wide world interweb, and they want to REACH OUT TO THE BLOGGY PEOPLE, oh yes ma’am they do.)

(POWER TO THE BLOGGY PEOPLE!)

(HOLLA!)

(Ahem.)

But wait! There’s more!

When you click on tomorrow afternoon’s link, you’ll also find HTML code for a some Monk & Neagle button-y goodness that you can add to your blog. If you do receive a free copy of the CD, I think it would be great if you put a button in your sidebar as sort of a bloggy thank you to the record company for the free musical goodness.

Not to mention the fact that you’re going to love this CD, want to tell everyone who reads your blog all about it, and as a result practically skip for joy at the sight of a Monk & Neagle button in your sidebar.

Because see that M&N button over there to the left? It makes me skip for joy on a daily basis.

Finally.

If you don’t have a blog and as a result aren’t eligible for this particular giveaway, you’ll still be able to click on tomorrow afternoon’s link to hear an audio stream of 5 songs from the CD. And don’t give up hope: I may be able to give away a few more copies of the CD once it comes out in September – even though I haven’t exactly asked if I can do that yet (BUT THANKS IN ADVANCE, PROVIDENT MUSIC! BIG HUGS!).

There.

I believe that’s all.

I am understandably giddy.

  1. I have a blog, but I’m not sure that I have 50 unique visitors each month. How do we know this/prove it to the musical people?

P.S. Yay for blogity giveaway music goodness!! :)

  2. Thanks for the M&N goodness! Wooh!

  3. Woohoo!!!!

  4. Oh yes, please answer Grace’s question up there for all us little people!!

  5. Thanks for the M&N update! I have enjoyed listening to their music on their little page!

  6. Honestly … it’s just one of those days where I’m loosing my mind, because I kept checking back (after doing the appropriate math to figure out difference between your time and my time), and I just KNEW it was the RIGHT time that you should have posted that link, and I was getting all fidgity and tickety and what not … when I realized today is indeed Wednesday. All day long. Darn.

But — HEY — on an upnote — your hair is adorable, and so are you, my friend!!! And I love it all flipped out like it is. That’s how I want mine. Cute, cute, cute.

  8. If you have a Site Meter, you can check your stats for the last 30 days in the left hand column. Look under the column that says “visits,” then click on “last 30 days.” Once the new page pops up, scroll down – and if all those numbers combined is more than 50, you’re good.

And if you DON’T have a SiteMeter but know that you have, say, 5 dedicated readers / day, then you should be well over 50 unique visitors a month.

The main reason for the traffic qualification is to make sure the CDs are going to bloggers who have been at it at least a month or so – as opposed to people who set up a blog so that they can get a free CD. Not than anyone would ever do such a thing, of course. :-)

  9. Yeah — double comment. Sorry.

  10. So, how do we know if our readers are unique. JK.

    Thanks for the heads up.

  11. You’re on fire today. Too funny indeed :)

Question: I have to have 50 unique visitors to my blog monthly to qualify? Or did I read that wrong? Interesting.

never mind, I just read your comment above. Pardon my previous unreadingness.

  12. I’m giddy, too. After reading this post and your previous two, I have to ask “What vitamins are you taking?” I know that you are a good Baptist girl so it’s nothing stronger than vitamins, but your enthusiasm cracked me up.

  13. In reference to one of your previous posts… I have to say, I heard one of the tracks from Mandisa’s album on Sirius the other day and man, she rocks!

  14. I’ve visted the M&N website and listened to a coupe of their songs. I so hope I get one of their CD’s. I work in the music department of my church and luv hearing new tunes.

  15. Okay, this has nothing to do with this post but I want to tell you before I forget — Anita Renfroe. She’s a stand up comic who is a Christian. Go see her if you can. Don’t say I didn’t tell you. ;-)

  16. Thanks for the heads up. I believe that my blog would qualify me. I believe I should just hop on over there and see….

  17. You know I’ll be there… with Troy dancing beside me. :D And thanks for doing this before Monday… you’re the greatest.

  18. M&N sang at our actual church and….I missed it. Bummer!
