Ann Taylor LOFT Maternity Giveaway

All righty, internets – this is gonna be fun.

Ann Taylor LOFT Maternity is giving away a brand-spankin’-new $100 gift card to one of you lucky people.

I KNOW!

And while I’m not exactly expecting a baby right now, I have to tell you that looking at their maternity clothes sort of makes me want to buy one of their shirts and stick a beach ball underneath it and then pat my tummy lovingly.

Because that is completely sane.

But I am, after all, the girl who started wearing maternity clothes when I was approximately eight weeks pregnant, not that I was showing even one iota, mind you.

There was just something about those oversized, roomy panels at the tops of maternity pants that I found oddly comforting.

Until, of course, I filled out those panels completely.

Anyway, here’s what you do it if you’d like to enter this particular giveaway (and you don’t have to be pregnant to win, oh my word no).

1. Click here to visit the Ann Taylor LOFT Maternity site.

2. Pick out one item of clothing that you would love to have if you were expecting (or if you are expecting).

3. Come back here and tell me all about it in the comments.

This giveaway will be open until Wednesday, February 20. And only one entry per internet, por favor.

Have fun, everybody!

This giveaway is now closed.

  1. The Floral Print Wrap Dress is yummy!!

  2. I love the red hoodie, and the striped rugby shirt…along with just about anything on the site!

I’m 7 months pregnant and SO running out of things to wear! All my maternity clothes are threadbare…comes from doing this so many times…so I would LOVE to win! Thanks for the chance!

  3. I would love the Maternity Solid Empire Waist Tie Top. It is soooo cute! I’m hoping to be pregnant soon. ((Crossing my fingers)) and while I still have my old maternity clothes, I lost 30 lbs after my last pregnancy and they are probably going to be a little big for at least a little while.

  4. Maternity Woven Inset Ribbed Square Neck Sweater

ONE thing — I have to pick ONE thing???? I love thierc stuff – usually I can’t afford it though. I am expecting #3 in Aug!

  5. Jennifer L. says:

I think the maternity chinos are so very adorable and useful for so many places, plus it’s warm where we live, and jeans can be too stuffy at times. I’m not expecting, but my good friend is pregnant with twins and she could use some cute chinos like that! :)

  6. I liked the Maternity Demi Panel Original Boot Leg Jeans.

  7. I am in desperate need of good maternity pants to wear to work. It looks like they have a ton of cute options! I also like the black dress with jeweled detail that is on sale!! It would be perfect for an upcoming wedding.

  8. How can just one item be selected? The dresses are just so cute, but I really could use a nice pair of jeans, too. Mine don’t seem as comfy this pregnancy as with the others.

  9. I’m a “classic” girl….so I like the short sleeve button front white shirt. Not currently (to my knowledge) pregnant, but it could be in the works soon enough.

  10. I am expecting and I need more jeans, so I am going to say the jeans.

  11. Kelly in Carrollton, GA says:

Hey! I love that classic v-necked black dress with the empire waist. Beautiful!! Kelly

  12. I love the floral print wrap dress!

PS– I would give the card to a friend– seeing as how I am NOT pregnant! :-)

  13. Gerr! I just HAD a baby. I really don’t want back in those clothes at all! I’ll be praying for someone to win so I don’t have to look at another paneled pant outfit again for awile! Thanks for the fun! Enjoy Africa!

  14. (how many exclamation points can I use up there?)

  15. Oh, what to pick? I am expecting, and my maternity clothes from 5 years ago aren’t all that stylish anymore. I’d start with those chinos, I suppose–they look comfy and cute! (And basic. Which is SO me.)

  16. I’m due in just a few weeks, and my sister-in-law is expecting this summer. I think I’d have to go with the Maternity Pima Cotton Crew Neck Cardigan – so comfy and useful, or the waffle knit hoodie. I’m all about comfort at this point!

  17. i like the 3/4 sleeve scalloped edge cardigan. Mmmm….a gift card would be a nice pick me up right now.

  18. Not expecting yet, but we are hoping to try this year. My favorite is the Maternity Long Sleeve Ruffle Henley. Too cute!!!

  19. First of all the thought of an XXS or 00 sized pregnant woman makes me want to cry…because I so am not XXS (or pregnant yet…we are trying for #2 now.) I love so many things, but I think my favorite is the Essential V-Neck Sweater. Thanks so much!

  20. Bridgette says:

I love the denim roll top jeans! Because comfy jeans are essential during pregnancy! Bridgette

  21. I think that the floral wrap dress is pretty and flattering. Good for work, with a denim jacket for coffee with the girls and with a cute cardigan for more dressy-up fancy-pants events!

  22. I love the red waffle zip up hoodie! Of course, I probably would need something a bit cooler, since I not due until August!

  23. I love the floral print wrap. My sister is pregnant, so I’d give the card to her; I’ll get her hand-me-downs when it’s my turn!

  24. Floral print wrap dress!

  25. kelli in the mirror says:

My sister is pregnant and she would love the short sleeve smocked top. And then maybe I could use it later if we need it again. :)

  26. What Fun! I am not prego, but my great friend Janelle is (who already entered with her post at 10:55!), and I would LOVE to give her this little piece of gift card joy! So this is what I picked for her…the “Short sleeved smocked scoop neck top!” It’s flirty and floral, and just so Pretty! It would look great on Janelle, as she is just the cutest pregnant person ever!

  27. The boot cut jeans, definitely! I’m 4 months pregnant with my 2nd baby and have been wearing maternity clothes since 7 weeks….and I’m soooo bored with all of my clothes! I would LOVE to get some new ones.

  28. Oh, I would love to win this since I hope to be pregnant soon! I love Ann Taylor Loft. I like the Maternity Solid Empire Waist Tie Top b/c I am petite and sometimes patterns can overwhelm my frame. It is very clean/classy and can be dressed up with accessories.

  29. Cotton striped button front shirt…I love button-up shirts, but mine are no longer long enough to cover the maternity panel!

  30. Wow, what a great giveaway! I am 28 weeks pregnant and starting to grow out of my maternity clothes already (I know, I’m in trouble, huh?), so it would be a huge blessing to win this contest.

I like lots of things on the site, but especially the long-sleeve ruffle henley, not only because it is pretty, but also because I have a little space heater inside and have no desire to encase myself in polyester.

  31. Oh, I do like the Maternity Adjustable Waist Striped Pants. Pants are the toughest! I’m 19 weeks gone with #2, and with my previous child 5 years ago, I could wear *anything* to work. Now, although I’m in a job I love, I have to dress like a grown-up, and my old maternity clothes are woefully inadequate!

  32. I think the Floral Print Wrap Dress is very cute! It’s flirty, and you can’t say that about much maternity wear!

  33. I like the long sleeved, ruched yoke scoop neck top. Hope I win!

    Sarah

  34. I’m pregnant and BEGGING you to pick me! Okay, since that’s settled…

How to choose? I love the short sleeved scoop neck smocked top, and also the long sleeve empire in black that’s on SALE. I also like the floral print wrap dress. A lot. Oh, and I’m a sucker for zip-up hoodies and cardigans (hello, that 1-button cardigan is CUTE) so sign me up for those too!

  35. Maternity One-Button Cardigan. I heart this!!! And feel like I HAVE to HAVE it!!!

  36. I love the V-neck dress with the empire waist. I’m due in August and have a wedding to go to 4 weeks before my due date!

  37. Well, I’m a firm believer in just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you have to be frumpy and dumpy. Who doesn’t like to be cute? I love the waffle zip up hoodie. That’s something cute and comfortable because no matter how overwhelming the desire to be cute may be, you’re still pregnant and you need a little comfort!

  38. Love the black cardigan. Could make it work with so many things!

  39. Hi! I am definately not pregnant, but my best friend is! I love the 3/4 sleeve ruffle henley for her, the dark jeans, or the one button cardigan…. pretty much everything on the site!

  40. I am expecting! LOL! And I love the Maternity Short Sleeve Smocked Scoop Neck Top–would look lovely with jeans and boots.
    $44.00
A flowing top in pretty floral print. Scoop neckline with smocking detail at front. Elastic along front collar. Short raglan sleeves with elastic cuffs.

  41. boomama, i am expecting my third (and final, mind you) baby this upcoming july, and honey, the sleeveless dress with the jewel waist detail would be SOOOO comfortable when it is all hot and steamy up here.

because being nine months pregnant, i’m sure sleeveless dresses or sleeveless shirts will make everything THAT much cooler, right?

  42. Definitely the maternity floral print wrap dress – because every pregnant woman should have one nice dress. And that’s probably the one thing they never splurge on.

  43. Look, my very first comment! Yay, me. Although I’m not expecting (I did expect to be expecting around now, but no such luck) my little sister, my sister in law, my best friend and my cousin are all expecting and due this summer. The little short sleeve smocked flower power shirt is very sweet. Although, my sister and my friend are both professionals and would probably enjoy some of the more tailored stuff. Wow, thats a long comment, sorry.

  44. My eldest niece is having her first baby in August. She always dresses very beautifully, and the full leg stripe pants really stand out for me. It’s number is #214293. Thanks for doing this!
    Chrissie

  45. Well, I am NOT expecting, but my best friend is. Due on August 23rd, and I like the smocked scoop neck for her. If I won, I’d run right on over and hand her this gift cert and we’d make a shopping day out of it! She needs some summer maternity clothes :)

  46. I am 6 months along and the maternity roll panel boot leg pants look cute and comfy!

  47. My Son is 3 mths old and I wish I woul have had the Maternity Cotton Striped Button-Front Shirt. I love button up shirts and couldn’t find one that I liked when I was pregnant. But we plan on having another one and I would love that shirt.

  48. I absolutely love the black dress with the empire waist. Fancy I tell ya!

  49. I love the floral print smocked shirt. Since I’m due the beginning of July it would be perfect for me!

  50. Be still my ovaries.

I would so be wearing the V-Neck dress with empire waist…in black…because it’s slimming. Ha.Ha.Ha.

And then, because my arms aren’t (slim, that is), I’d be getting the 3/4 sleeve scalloped trim cardigan…to cover em up!

    I *heart* them.

  51. Jessica R says:

I’ll take the sassy red dress and some maternity jeans thank you very much.

  52. I’m in my 3rd trimester and would LOVE something new to wear! I love the short-sleeved smocked scoop neck top, however, my first choice would probably be the chinos because I’m tired of wearing the same pants all the time! :-)

  53. I think the one-button cardigan is cute enough to make you wish you were pregnant. I’m not expecting right now, but my sister-in-law is, and I would love be able to bless her with this. Poor thing is in the process of moving (while being pregnant with a two-year-old, not easy). She could really use a pick me up!

  54. Anita Eastin says:

    Hi BooMama.
I am pregnant and since I married for love and not money, I still have to work, but when you are up at 2AM for the third night in a row, love is a good thing, right? Anyway, I really loved the V-Neck Dress with Empire Waist. I can wear this to work and look somewhat decent even with ice cream stains!! Please pick me! Thank you!

  55. Well, I’m not currently expecting, but I’m trying to be! I would love some beautiful Ann Taylor Loft threads to round out my maternity wardrobe – when I was knocked up with the Smooch, we lived in Florida. So I have plenty of hot-weather things, but nothing for colder weather. If I won… oh me, oh my. I would go crazy! I love the Floral Print Ruched Scoop Neck Top – it’s so feminine and pretty!

Thanks for hosting this giveaway – I didn’t know ATL had a maternity section now! :) Fun!

  56. I just might be needing the boot leg jeans and the chinos this spring… ;)

  57. Oh, I love the floral wrap dress and the adjustable bootleg dress pants, and half the sweet sweaters! How can I just choose one item I’d like to have if I won?

  58. I love the Empire Ruched Front Dress (burgandy) & the boot leg jeans. ATL is a fantastic store!

    Thanks Boomama.

  59. Black wrap dress!! I’ll need it by the time warm weather hits!

  60. I am six months along with my first and feel frustrated at times that there are only a handful of stores that carry maternity clothing. I love Ann Taylor and I am thrilled they have a maternity line!! I love the Sash Waist Woven Shirt. Thanks for such a generous giveaway!!!

  61. The Maternity Waffle Zip-Up Hoodie is super cute, and looks wearable in those early days and postpartum. Thanks for the giveaway!

  62. Bailey's Leaf says:

Not pregnant here, but have enough friends who are and would BEAT MY DOOR DOWN FOR THIS GIVEAWAY! But, if I were, I would love that floral smocked top number.

  63. I LOVE the Maternity Empire Ruched Front Dress! It is SO cute and looks like it would be comfortable!!

  64. Well, I wouldn’t actually buy anything with the card because I’m not pregnant. But, I have a good friend at work who is and who LOVES Ann Taylor Loft. She will probably be my bff if I score this for her, and rest assured it will be used to purchase something stylish and fun, because that’s the kind of girl she is!

  65. Oh my… I’m having a hard time not getting too excited, (though mark my words, I’ll be all sorts of crazy if I win). I’m pregnant now and in that weird stage where everything looks frumpy and tent-ish because these are the clothes that I wore at the end of my last pregnancy. I’d love to have something that fits.

I like the beaded long sleeve v neck. Mmmmm, clothes :)

  66. I really like the solid empire waist tie top. It’s so cute.

  67. I’d get a couple camisoles and probably a pair of cute pants or something! I could really use some new maternity clothes.

  68. I love the floral print wrap dress. It would be so great for church or a baby shower!

  69. Vanessa van der Meer says:

I think the Maternity Waffle Zip-Up Hoodie is a must have! I am 31 weeks pregnant and could definitely use a spring pick me up of a new maternity wardrobe!!

    Thanks!
    Vanessa

  78. I like the Maternity Short Sleeve Smocked Scoop Neck Top. The flowers are so pretty!

  79. I am not expecting but my cousin is and would sure love a gift card! Here is my fave outfit on the site-

  80. The garden wrap is awesome. My sister in laws are both prego and could have fun with this.

  81. I love the sleeveless dress with the jewel detail! I am going to be nine months pregnant in July – in Texas heat!

I’ve been looking for a new resource for maternity clothes – and am glad to find AT! :)

    Thanks a bunch!

  82. Love the faux wrap geometric print top!

Love their stuff enough to have a 3rd baby! On the other hand I think if I won i would just shower my good friend with some love!

  83. The Maternity Garden Print Wrap Top is so cute!!! =)

  84. I like the khaki chino pants. Especially since I’m almost 8 months pregnant and could use a couple new additions to my wardrobe!

  85. am i too late? please say no…

I like the Maternity Basketweave Print Faux Wrap Top with the black pants. I’m 8 weeks pregnant with our little surprise. (baby 5)

  86. ok, how did I not know that they even had a maternity section….

  87. I am loving the black bead long sleeve top. A little bling is always good!

  88. Maternity Short Sleeve Smocked Scoop Neck Top

  96. I would love to buy the Floral Print Wrap Dress, and I am hoping to be pregnant soon! But if I am not, I do have a friend who is.

  97. Sleeveless dress with the waist jewel detail. It’s on sale for only $15 or so. And super cute.

  98. Elizabeth says:

I like the sleeveless black dress with empire waist, also the pin-striped button-down shirt with the cardigan. I’m not a huge fan of the real clingy stuff (pregnant or not).

  99. Maternity Short Sleeve Smocked Scoop Neck Top

  100. Maternity V-Neck Dress with Empire for me!!! Thanks and may God bless your trip to Africa! Can’t wait to read about it!
