My favorite Christmas movie is Scrooge, hands down. (It’s the musical Christmas Carol.) We watched Scrooge every year on Christmas Day and we used to listen to the 8-track in our Chevy Nova on the way to my grandparents’ every year, too. So much redemption in that movie!!! And such great music.

I just saw The Holiday for the first time last night. I loved it….does this count for a christmas movie?
FIRST of all, what i THOUGHT was going to be the old school stop animation rudolf the red nosed reindeer was on last night, and i got all excited and settled in to watch, and then it came on and they had CHANGED it and updated it with new-fangled modern technology. i’m sure you see how i feel about it since i got all huffy with the capitals.
anyway. just had to get that off my chest. my actual favorite christmas movie is “love actually” — not appropriate for kiddos, so it’s probably good i don’t have any yet! :) thanks boomama! merry christmas!
